Please can this number stop calling me and saying I need a lawyer

Yeah, they can, but it'll require time, patience, and you not answering unknown calls in any way. Nobody else on here can do it, so while you might need a lawyer, they'll need some kind of answer to be able to say that.

Caller leaves a threading messages asking for your attorney and you , the receipiant of the message to call backASAP because legal and delicate case is pending against you. Before it used to be a heavy accent , from East Asian like Pakistan or India , now they are using an automatic voice message. It is a scam , shame on them

They just called again but like I say, my local police department has instructed me to not mess with these criminals! The person I talked to said she gets these calls too.
With all of these crazy calls we get, I'm beginning to wonder if this has something to do with certain lawmakers wanting to eliminate encryption hense, jeopardizing our identities and personal information. I'm totally against eavesdropping into the private lives of American citizens.

I received a phone call from the same number 213-289-3855 stating in a message that if I didn't call within a certain amount of time then all they could say is good luck but it did sound in the rest of the message that I needed to get a lawyer and they have a case number and it's going to criminal court I have no clue what this is I don't know anybody anything

Received threatening call from 213-289-3855 stating they were suing me and identifying themselves as the irs.

I got a call from 213-289-3855 at 10:36 am today, I was in school and I don't answer any calls when i'm in school so I did not answer.   I got a voicemail from a computerized voice saying if I did not call them back, the only thing they could do was wish me luck about what was coming.   The computer did not say what it was.   The caller is in Los Angeles, California.   They say call them back immediately, guess what i'm not going to do... and if they are trying to steal my information, they cant.   I use a tracfone.

IS THIS A SCAM OR NOT?

Got this call twice the past two days. Automated voice told me to retain an attorney.

213-289-3855 is the # that keeps calling me telling me i'm a criminal, is that not funny or what.

It's a scam.

Received voice message from robotic female voice citing a case number and indicating we should call 213-289-3855 with the name of our attorney of record. This and other sites seem to indicate this is likely a scammer. We did not call the number back.

Elderly disabled parents received 12 calls on their cell phone from 213-289-3855. Of course they were concerned. I'm thankful they called me before talking to these scammers. Shame on these worthless no good pieces of human waste.
