I don't know if you should do that, I think I read if you call the number back that they can hack your account and gain access, taking personal information.  I blocked the number but my phone still shows the block calls and I get the voicemails.

"SCAM" when I called back on behalf of my client I asked for the Name and ID number ... they hung up on me.... Called back again... this time ask who I was speaking to.... they hung up on me.. Called the Police in 213 area... they said I had to go into file report ... of threats made to my client... the police said I need to call the phone company and report them... They are with perless... but they don't answer the phone.

Just got a call from these low life Indian scammers. Messing with them hard core now LOL!

They keep calling me saying i need an attorney and i call back and they hang up on me

Keep receiving phone calls from (213) 289-3862 saying they are the IRS and tell them to stop calling and they will not, what can I do to stop calls

Threatening to take legal action   Three counts against me regarding taxes from 2010 -2014. Asking to pay or  go to jail

Do a search on call blocking devices and phones.If its a cell phone, there are free call blocking apps out there including trac & straight talk.

Do consider getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $40.00 or so.If its a cell phone, some already have call blocking, if not, there are free apps on the web that will work for some. You can google this. If you have a smart phone, there is a free app called call control. Iphones appear to have apps also. Another one is called Mr. Number.

I am extremely  weary of this number calling us incessantly.  It is a major scam!!!!  No identity just orders to us to give them our retained attorney - BULL!

For the last 2 weeks I have also been receiving the same calls. I finally got fed up and called the number. The man I spoke to gave me a so called case# and told me he had a legal affidavit on file. He ask me if I do my own taxes and said i owed the IRS $2,500. I informed him i never received any correspondence from the IRS on the matter and if i did i would have made arrangements to take care of the matter immediately. He told me it was to late for arrangements and that he was going to contact the sheriffs office as well as the agency and have them pick me up at work or at home. I NEVER disclosed and personal information nor would i have. I called my fiance and he called them back. But got no response.  In the past when money is owed to the IRS notices have been mailed out and payment arrangements have been made. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!

Its a scam, they call my house and my cell daily, So I called the # back for fun,
Played dumb, so they asked for my name, gave a fake name, Rob Brady, LOL,
Said ok and said they needed to place me on hold, came back and said that there were discrepancies on my 2011-2015 filed tax report and that the IRS was thinking it was being defrauded, and that legal action was going to be taken unless a settlement could be reached, They asked if I did my own taxes,
Thats when I said no, My employer does my taxes, They asked who was my employer, I said well, thats the funny thing, Its the IRS,   Thats when the IDIOT, started laughing and called my a F'g A**HOLE.
BTW, the idiot could hardly speak english.  LMAO

I received a threatening phone call telling me that I The issue at hand is severely time sensitive  and I must return the phone call with my attorney of record. The outcome is totally up to me and that I better return the phone call or they wish me
"good luck". It was an animated voice message and it said that I better return the phone call with my attorney of record. It is a time sensitive issue and the outcome is totally up to me. Then the message stressed that I better not disregard this message and return the phone call immediately.

This is a scam without a doubt.  Shut these people down or  get rid of their number.  I'm tired of them calling me.

The caller ID said "unknown name." The message pretends to be from the IRS legal department. Im notifying the local police. They like to know about patterns of scam calls so they can alert the public.

Yep, multiple calls saying I owe money, same CH claim as everybody else. Officer Emily Fields...but she's from India, yeah right. Tells me I will be arrested within 30 minutes if I don't handle this or have my attorney call. What a load of bull and really ruined a good day!!!
