I got a call from this number and I am on a Do Not Call list!  I googled it and it is a telemarketer, which I thought I would be protected against!

call from california.knew my name. did not answer.

just received a call from this number and the man said he was a police officer from the state of pennsylvanina, and said he was returning a call that someone made from our home number. when i asked him to repeat where he was calling from, and who he was, he hung up.

Showed up on my caller id. Some kind of diabetic assiciation. I am not diabetic. The automated message lised a website that ends in .NET. Most legit groups have .ORG at the end of their web address. This smells like some kind of scam.

Did not answer this call when I received it today...I googled the Name AND Number on my caller ID

Called them back last week and told them to take me off the list. Got another call today!

I think they are trying to determine WHO is living in your house, as I had the phone call block ALL Unavailable calls from my line as someone is looking for a relative (a bill collector) and they have been calling since 1994, so now since Unavailable is blocked, they are using another tactic.
  These people will NEVER stop calling, and it is the phone company, and Congress's fault. Call your Congressman and DEMAND that ALL unsolicited phone calls stop, and especially the liars on COngress with their political calls night and day, and they have already started calling for the 2012 Presidential election.

Someone from this number called my house at 4:15 AM today!  So annoying.  Didn't recognize the number so I didn't pick up.  Reported them on the Do Not Call registry website.

I am also on the 'list,' but continue to get calls from unfamilar numbers. Some show Unavailable, Out of Area & LS Learning Ctr.  I started answering them and when I get a live person, I immediately blow a loud safety whistle then hang up. The calls have started to subside. Unfortunately, one Unavailable happened to be my bank. Oh well, the display should have shown the bank name. Somehow several of these scammers are able to 'steal' legit names to display on my phone, including my electric company's name and some senior in assisted living.

Call from this number on caller id shows name as California.  I did not answer.  What good is a do not call list if it the govt. can't or won't enforce it?  Tired of this.  Every day similar calls.

I answer but there is someone on the line but no one says anything

Caller ID shows "California" but not the area code for my daughter.  Didn't answer so have no idea what the call was about or who/what it was from.

received call from 2133302890 asking if anyone in household had diabetes. When I said she was calling a business number, she kept asking if anyone in the household had diabetes.  She was very insistant. Finally hung up. Seemed like she was trying to get a medicare number.

Watch out for this number they are  trying to get your info. from Craigslist and the emails were asking for my personal info. They are now calling my phone. They are not a telecommunications. They are Scamming!!!

asked my 12 daughter if anyone in our home was a diabetic -- foreign female. A day later, same number called my cell phone but I didn't answer. After googling the number, I found out this same number has called a myriad of others asking if anyone was diabetic in their household.

Several calls from this number over the past couple of days - showed up as Burke, Williams on caller ID - didn't answer as I do not know a Burke from the 213 area code - they left no message

Won't take us off their calling list

You can file a complaint w/ your local Attorney General's office...which is exactly what I have been doing with ALL of them since I am on the do not call list in my state.
