I had inquired about government grants online. This number called me verifying my grant information. After discussing the CD they offered, I declined. After This I have received at least 8 phone calls a day starting at 2 a.m. I looked online. I am not the first who has dealt with this issue. Many more have had several calls from them. This is harassment and needs to be stopped.

The ONLY way to stop it is to file complaints with the FTC (877)382-4357 and the Do Not Call list (888) 382-1222. It only takes a few minutes to file a complaint at each place. I would also recommend filing a complaint with your state attorney general.

Check your state, Indiana has one of the strongest DNC laws in the country. I have also filed with our state attorney general.

They called me regarding information on "government grants." They use a pre-recorded sound board, someone is sitting there listening to your answers and pressing buttons to play different responses...it's stupid. Anyways, I told them to call back at 5PM (I wanted to do some investigation) because the fact that they were using a soundboard was more than a little suspicious.

If they call back at 5 I'll tell them to stop, if they continue I'll threaten them with a class-action lawsuit as I AM on the Do Not Call list. If they continue to harass you REPORT them to the Do Not Call list's website.

If they're calling your mobile phone please use the blocking service they provide, Verizon offers it for free while AT&T charges like $5 to block 15 numbers.

After two days of continous calls, I answered it.  The person said he was from a federal grant program in which I requested assistance from online.  This immediately put up red flags, since I did not request any such information and am not in need of federal money.  When I pressed him about what information of mine he had and how it was obtained there was a lot of double talk.  I insisted on speaking to a supervisor and was hung up on.  I called the number back and it appeared to be an automated voice which requested money for shipping of an information packet, but upon requesting to speak to an actual person I learned that it was someome speaking with a computer aid.  They also hung up when I insisted on speaking to a supervisor.  Beware!

My mother received a call at 6am this morning, from this number, asking for me. She was suspicious of the call and told them that I was out of the country and wouldn't be back in the foreseeable future. She was hung up on before she could talk further.

I then heard that they called my employer and asked for me, again. My employer asked what it was about and they refused to tell him. My boss said that he didn't know where I was, hung up and got the IT department to block the number.

Even more strange, they have called my brother and my ex husband asking for my whereabouts. My brother told them to [***] off and hung up, whereas my ex husband said he hadn't seen me for years (which he hasn't). I was a little bit pissed off about this and decided to call them myself. I got through to a man named 'Gareth' and told him that they had been calling my family and friends all day looking for me. Gareth said that no such activity had been carried out by them and that, and these were his exact words, 'you might be going a little crazy, ma'am'.

That comment literally enraged me and I told the jumped up little weasel that if anyone from his scam artist company called after me again, I'd file a class action lawsuit against them and take them down. He laughed at me and said there was nothing I could do and that they had my number now so could harass me whenever they like. I laughed at him and said I was calling from a payphone (which I was because I'm not stupid) and he could call it as many times as he likes - I wouldn't be there to answer. He made some inexplicable noises before hanging up. My future attempts at calling them are met with the message that the office 'is closed at the moment' and to call back later. No thanks.

This is harassment and I am going to make it stop. They have no right to keep calling my relatives and family members and asking for my whereabouts. Filthy [***].

I have been getting calls from these people and they say they are from the Grant Center.  The lady says her name is Grace and I told her to remove me from their list yesterday and they are still calling me.  I believe they want to get personal information from people and if you don't give them the satisfaction within a few minuets they feel you may be trying to trace the call and they hang up.

Anyways..I'm so glad I have a smart phone, if you have a Windows Mobile or Pocket PC phone you can get an application called "Call Firewall" which will automatically block numbers that you add to your blacklist.

Lol, these people are ridiculous. I'm calling them back a lot now, and on one occasion some guy answered and I asked him "How did you get my number?" he responded "Anna gave it to us." "Who's Anna?" I ask, he responds "Your sister." I reply "I don't have a sister named Anna." He hangs up.

I think I'm getting more fun out of this than them.

Answered after a couple rings, after I said "hello" nobody was there, said "hello" again, no answer, so I hung up. I've gotten at least 15 calls from the same number with the same issue.

I found their website and 'terms' which are full of [***]. Here's an interesting snippet which is COMPLETELY illegal.

By providing any personal information, you agree and are giving permission that JRS Media Solutions, its associates, sponsors and co-sponsors of this offer may contact you by means of telephone, e-mail or other sources of marketing, even if your number is found on a do not call registry or listed on an opt out list pursuant to the CAN-SPAM Act."

These [***] are STEALING our personal information, I never personally provided them with ANY of this information. You can tell their doing this because whenever you ask them how they got your number they'll say you filled out information on their website but if you go any further and ask "When did I do this?" or "What email address did I use?" they'll hang up on you.

I've been grilling these people from calling 1-213-430-4297 for the last two hours, I got them to admit that they are from the Philippines. Grace & john are automated by computer. Trying to pass off as Government grant guys. Using an autodialer.

They called my cell phone today I didn't answer no message so it can't be anybody that I know.... they need to get a life Im going to report they to the FTC

i dont want one more call from this aggravating person.they have been calling me at least five times a day for the past two weeks.every time i answer there is noone there.

yeah i got the call last night and the nite before i dont answer fall calls i dont no but win i call the 800 number they are trying to send me to another number and they called me back to back about 9 times each time.

calls 10x a day, does not leave a message, busy signal if i try to return call.

this place is the most unethical of companies.  i get 10 calls a day.  i started faxing back to their number and have the fax retry 10 times before it stops.  this gives me the pleassure of having their phone pick up and they herre that loud beep.  i suggest everyone do this and maybe they will experience more pain than we do.

I been receiving calls from this number also. It is very annoying. After trying to block the calls from this number and not see that worked I to Googled this number. I contacted the costumer service people and basically threatened them. Telling them I will report them to the state Attorney General. Let's see what happened. The Super. said he was not aware of these issues. I gave him the number and told him to google it to see what problems they are causing. Hope that works.
