Three calls today that I did not answer, I answered the fourth and fifth calls with noone on the other end.  When I tried to call back the same number, I got a no dial tone.  I hung up, and they called again, This time a person aske for my wife by name but I was already reporting this number to every agency I know of, when I informed the person on the other end, they immediately hung up and the phone has not rang since.  I don't know what there deal is, but they are way past the point of annoying.  If you get a call from this number, don't even screw with it, report them.

I had the same problem with my cell phone I use for my business. I quickly called the local court house, asking them what to do. They gave me the toll free number to put your number on the "No Calling List" for people like this. Worked great, the number is scam free/toll free and takes about 1-2 minutes with "No" personal information needed. Would recommend this number to everyone: 1-888-382-1222

You can also file a complaint at donotcall.gov. Also to put yourself on the "No Calling List" its all automated. You just simply type your phone number in with zip code and your done.

Great news I hope. Some one ansewered the phone and I made like I was interested so when I saked for the company name and address she told me: The Grant Center 305 W. Broadway Ave. New York, New York 10013 Then I told her to Take me off the call list. We'll see

Called so far 12 times within 3 hours need to stop whoever they are on the DO NOT CALL LIST and they still call needs to be stoped

this number has called me 9 times in 2 hours...when i answer they hang up. i am getting very annoyed...this is my cell so it costs me money and i dont like it one bit. i have placed a complaint on the donotcall registry.

this company kept calling me as well, i called the customer service number 866-370-7270 and they put my on the do not call registry. so if your having problems with this number, call them and they will fix it.

Keep getting calls from unknown source late at night when i have to be up at 5 am everyday to go run since its mandatory in the Marine Corps and i receive calls all day with no answer on the other line.

Got several calls from 213-430-4297, too.  In fact, while writing this comment, that phone # called again.  Called the customer service #800-370-7270 you listed and complained about all the phone calls we're getting and how annoying they are.  The customer service person's name was Ronny.  He states he's customer service for a grant funding company for a weight loss program??? I didn't get that.  It was hard to understand him through his accent.  He said he'll put my phone number on their "do not call list" and apologized for the problem.  

We called our wireless phone company 611# (Verizon) and asked for call blocking.  They can block up to 5 phone numbers for free, by Federal law.  This block will last for 60 days.  After the 60 days, you can call 611 to ask for call blocking again and it will last another 60 days.  All wireless phone company have this call blocking feature, by Federal law.  The 213 number is a known scam number.

They have called me 8 times yesterday, and 12 times today!!! I don't answer to people I don't know, but they never left a message. When I try calling back I get just a long pause and a busy signal. SO ANNOYING!!!

SCAM!!!!  The number that is calling is the "Grant Center Office".  They called me frequently as well.  I called back and they claimed they were offering grant money on behalf of the government.  I had just filled out a FAFSA form for school aide, so it made sense until...they asked for $2.95 for shipping and handling and how I'd like to pay.  I called my school and FAFSA to confirm their legitamacy.  Neither had heard of this procedure. This company and others like it are SCAMS.  There are complaints all over the internet about it.

Eight phone calls in an hour and a half.  No one answers when I pick up and they do not leave a message.  I have tried to return the call, but only get a busy signal.  I reached a rep. from this company and asked to be placed on the do not call list.  He agreed, but the calls continue to come.

I am constantly getting calls from this number at all hours of the night! I answer the call and scream into the phone REMOVE MY NUMBER FROM YOUR LIST, STOP CALLING ME!!!!  Its almost every 15 minutes or less they are calling, this is TOTAL BS!! It's 8:00pm and I am furious! I DON'T WANT A CALL AT ANY TIME FROM THIS COMPANY!

Me too! I was just looking for info on grants and now they won't stop. Everyday they call me and everyday I tell them to stop. I get a lady named Grace, today when she called I waited for her to ask me if I was still interested and by the time I said "no, please stop.." she hung up on me. I don't know what to do!
