best thing to do is call 611 to have ur call blocked as far as telemarketers leaving a voice message they are not supposed to they trouble with the clients they are calling for if they are a ligitamate telemarketing business.

Well, I have to have been getting calls from them.  Everytime I call back they don't anwser or a busy single.  From what I understand that its L.A. thats calling.  I'm sorry that other people have been getting calls 20-40 times a day.  Someone needs to put a stop to it and make them pay for it.  I was reading all the post that people have put and I read one that he will contact his lawyer about it and put an end of it.  Well, the best of luck on that issue and I'm not tring to be mean about it.

This number 213/ 430-4297 keeps calling me. When I answer, it hangs up. When I call back, it's busy. Just stop calling me!!!!!

Calla bout 5 to 6 times a day and I want it to stop.  Already told them not to call and hung up on them numerous times.  I am registerd on the DO NOT CALL Registry but it has not stopped them

this phonenumber calls me about 10 times a day. I usually just don't answer. One time my husband answered and they asked for me by name and he said I was not home, so they hung up on him. I tried calling back and no one answered. They call anywhere between 8am til 10pm! I'm so mad! I'm going to report this to the FTC.

i have recently been getting the calls everyday...and early in the morning and late at night...about some stupid grant..and i tell them everytime that i already have my grant for college and they said they would take me off the list but they still call...and sometimes when i answer they just hand up

The "free money" scam has been around almost as long as the human species. It has more variations than a bulldog has wrinkles but you can count on one thing: the government (any government) does not simply give money away to individuals. Anyone who tells you differently has larceny in his heart. If you give him your bank account number, he will soon have your funds in his pocket.
It does no good to list all of the names used by these bunko artists because a.) they change all the time and b.) every single free-money government-grant offer is a scam. Period.

This number called 20xs yesterday, this phone # is my 14yr old sons cell he was killed 2 yrs ago and even though I keep the phone on and pay for it I wont be harrassed, I yelled at 2 people and they said sorry and not 5 monutes later 2 more calls

I have been getting phone calls almost everyday from these people. They never leave a message. I called the 866 number and they said they took me off their list.

they call and hang up over and over again at all times of the day i called back and asked for a supervisor "Jason" he has assured me that I would not receive anymore calls then Grace calls again then hangs up on you when you ask for Jason they still continue to call WTF!!!!!!!!!!I advised them that I was recording my calls and was going to sue them let's see what happens

Same as a lot of the others.  Calls several times, sometimes only 5 minutes between calls.  Does not leave an message.  When I finally answered they asked for Dave.  My son-in-law's name is David and rarely goes by the name Dave but when I told them that he wasn't here and would they like to leave a message they hung up on me.

I just spoke with the FTC and filed a complaint. Definitely do that. I called the customer service number (877) 495-1145 and spoke with Eric. They would/could not give me any info about how they got my name and number, but kept insisting that I had requested it online. I did NOT.  I asked to speak to his supervisor, who would not give me her name. I asked where she was and she said "at a call center in Utah". When I asked where in Utah, she said they were not "autorized to give out that information" (I'll bet they're not!!). I asked for an address and she said their "corporate headquarters" was:

Finally I told them I was calling the FTC, and I did. Please do the same thing. With enough complaints, they will shut these people down. Also, go to donotcall.gov and see if you are already on the "Do Not Call" list. If you are, file a complaint. I've done both, and if more people follow up, we can do something about this.

Please, don't just vent here, do something that matters. File formal complaints with the government. That's what it takes, but it takes more than just a handful of people to get the job done. Every call is just one more nail in their coffin.
