These phone calls began on Friday, July 24, 2009.
We had three in less than an hour and two within
5 minutes of each other.  No one was ever there.

I probably shouldn't have, but I called this number
back on Saturday, July 25, 2009.  I told the first
person I talked to that we had received 42 calls in
three days and I wanted them to stop immediately.  
That was admittedly an exaggeration, but I am in serious mode
and the number I use at home is on the do-not-call list.

She said "OK" and hung up on me.  Did not take any
information, they probably use the same type of software
that Domino's Pizza uses that can ID your number even from
a blocked line and pop it up onto their screen...but I
was a bit ticked so I called back.

This same girl answered the phone with a simple "yes??"
and I asked for a supervisor.This is what happened next:
GRI: Big Sigh.  shuffle, muffled voices, shuffle, Big Sigh
    "Hello, can I help you?"
ME: I need to speak to a supervisor

GRI: Hello, can I help you?

ME: I need to speak to your supervisor, someone in charge
   who can actually help me.

GRI:  Hello, can I help you?

ME:  You have called me 42 times in 3 days and I want it to
   stop.  If you call me again, I will be contacting my
   attorney and I will be pressing harassment charges for  
   you calling a number on the do-not-call list

GRI:  You do not want to have a grant from the government
    under the president's bail out plan?

(BIG RED FLAG HERE FOLKS....THE BAILOUT IS NOT FOR THE
PRIVATE CITIZENS, IT IS FOR THE CORPORATIONS AND CORRUPT
GOVT SPENDING OFFICIALS)

ME:  What I want is for you to stop calling my number and
    I want you to understand that we will be following up
    with our attorney who says you MUST stop calling us
    when we ask you to.

GRI:  Can I have your phone number?

I did give her the number (probably shouldn't have, but
I am having good faith that the calls will stop)

GRI:  Now I need your name and address

ME:  NO you do NOT!  You only need the telephone number
that you are using to harass me!  You do not need my
name, you do NOT need my address, you only need to delete
my telephone number from your data base

GRI:  I need your name to delete you

ME:  DO you have a supervisor I can talk to who understands
that you only need to delete my number and stop calling me
or our attorney will continue with the papers that are
ready to be filed against your corporation at
telephone number 213-452-6533??  

GRI:  I have deleted your number.  

ME:  Thank you very much, have a great day!

(*CLICK*) dial tone, so I hung up.

hopefully this will stop the calls, if not, we may have
to actually contact the atty I said we already had!

God forgive me for lying, but I want the calls to stop!

hopefully if you call them and offer to sell them something or
if you call them with litigious threats the calls will stop.  We'll
wait and see!

In reversing the phone number...does it get them to stop? This hell just started for me a few days ago...they call all frikkin day long! Just one ring - I never get to answer it as they have already hung up!
I would hate to spend the minutes trying to get a human on the phone. Any ideas on how to be rid of them?

They call at all hours as early as eight in the morning and sometimes minutes apart. You would think they would get the message after numerous times of calling and no one answering but an answering macine to stop calling.

Stop it.I have no idea what value this has to you when you do not answer. Whoever is doing this should be prosecuted and put in a cell where the phone rings every five minutes 24/7.

Missed call, left no message.

tHEY KEEP CALLING EVERYDAY AND WHEN I ANSWER THEY HANG UP. SO I CALLED THEM BACK FROM A DIFFERNET PHONE AND THE SAID THEY ARE GRANTS FOR CITIZENS AND THERE WAS ALOT OF BACKGROUND NOISE (LIKE IN A TELEMARKETING OFFICE).. I TOLD THE LADY THAT THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING ME AND HANGING UP, SHE SAID "I'M SORRY WE ARE HAVING PROBLEMS WITH OUR PHONE LINES", THEN SHE SAID "ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED IN GRANTS FOR CITIZENS?" I TOLD HER NO AND HUNG UP!

I keepm recieving phone calls from this and would like them to stop. how do we get these phone calls to stop

how do I get them to stop calling.  When I answer they hang up.  This is very annoying.

keeps calling -- called after 9pm so decided to give them a call.

Lady barely spoke english - did not identify her company or name.

I have had three calls from this number as well, twice today and once yesterday.  I live in Illinois - no idea what this could be about.

did it work? they are calling me about 8 times a day.

They have calling me every two hours for three days now.  They only let it ring twice.  I am very upset. How do I block them?

Company has called me over and over again after 8:00pm ...it's now Midnight and somehow I don't think they are done.  I live on the east coast and they said I signed for a grant.  Sure I did....send the damn money. I am still waiting you goofball...well anyways fill this out a report them to the FCC

They called me and insisted, a master card or a visa card, told them my cards were being replaced due to unauthorized use and did not have any and the person at that number kept asking for a visa or a master card, these people are aggressive at first. Now they just keep calling and closing the phone. Called back today and asked for a supervisor and the person said there is no supervisor and closed the phone.

these people call may phone all day, everyday starting at 7 am to 9 pm. i finally spoke to someone today and told them to get my number off of their list and not to call me anymore. it is the grant thing, stupid me for thinking that was legit. we'll see what happens with the calls now.
