This is an extremely problematic caller. I have gotten to the point where I don't even look at my phone any more for an incoming message. I want these people stopped. And, by the number of postings here, a lot of others do as well. So, the question here is--what is the point of this website? Just to vent? I am looking for a website to report these people and to have action. Postings on this site are going back to 2008 with apparent impunity.

I have selective call fowarding which lets me have fun with these callers... since the FTC does crap with the do not call list I forward all calls from telemarketers to them... rings my phone once and they get "Welcome to the Federal Trade Commission"... the FDC can either get rid of these callers or can answer their calls... I'm not anymore.

Just recieved a call from them. Told them I had previously told them to stop and that according to the Do Not call laws even a non-profit fundraiser must stop when told to. Also informed them that I will be filing a complaint with the FTC, the Illinois Attoney General (my state) and the California Attoney General (their state).

Caller ID: CALIFORNIA. Leaves no message.

I receive daily calls from this number.  Never leave a message.  How do I stop it?

Calls endlessly, never leaves a message, and when I call them to opt out, the machine says mailbox is full.

I kept getting messages from.this number even on weeke.ds so i called them.today and left a message that next time they call me to leave me their home #'s so i can call them at home constantly.

we've never been so bombarded as now - I'm guessing it's because it's an election year - this call came from Chicago - last one (2 minutes ago) came from Ogden, UT.  No msg left from either call.   I think the calls will stop once the election is done.

It was fundraising for obama.

Caller ID says this numbert belongs to Telefund Inc. They call over and over again at 12 to 15 minute intervals.  I block their calls but they are still annoying.

'Telefund' has called our home phone in middle Georgia almost every day for a couple of years, but we don't answer calls from telemarketers and scammers.

We've completely stopped donating to several large progressive organizations that hired this telemarketer to hound us for more money, which is a shame since we do support their efforts in spirit.  We're still donating lots of money to President Obama's reelection campaign, however, and I'm sure that's why we are getting this call.

I hope the Telefund folks aren't getting too frustrated or annoyed that we won't answer - it doesn't bother me one bit to look at the CallerID and ignore the call.

Unwanted calls two to three times a day

I have been receiving unsolicited calls from you daily four or more timeS a day.
Please cease calling or I will lodge a formal complaint or take legal action. I am on a DO NOT CALL LIST!

Even when I pick up the phone, there isn't anyone there so I have no idea who they're fundraising for. It's just ring, ring, ring, dead air.

Just to report I got a call from this number. No message. Called at 8:48 pm.

I agree.  They've been calling me everyday for the past two weeks but have finally stopped.  Here's what I did.  I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Los Angeles.  The BBB sent my complaint to the company.  The company responded with a bunch of BS but did say they have put me on its internal DNC list.  Go the the BBB Los Angeles site and you will find my complaint and Telefunds response.  BTW, it is exempt from the federal DNC list since its clients include political parties and charities, which are exempt.

I also called the 213-487-9500 number early in the morning and got a recording that if I was seeking employment to dial xxx and if I wanted to be placed on the DNC list to press yyy.

The bottom line is that I've received no more calls.

One other thing,  When making a donation to any group, either omit your phone number or give a phony one.  NEVER provide your actual phone #.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau of Los Angeles and the calls have stopped.  I also received a written response from the controller with a lot of BS, but the letter did state that Telefund, Inc received my phone number from a client.

The lesson:  NEVER give your phone #.
