Woke me up at 4:40 a.m.  The phone rang twice but disconnected before I got there.  We've had some family emergencies so I take middle of the night calls seriously.

I've received 8 calls over the past three days, also with no voicemail.  What a lousy policy for a so-called "progressive" company.  They remind me of those poeple who get paid for petition signatures and get in everyone's way on the street corner, but who probably don't even care about the cause, just about the cash.

213-487-9500 - They call many times a week, always at night and even on saturday and sunday nights.   I've asked them not to call and they still continue.

I get calls from this number quite frequently; I don't bother to answer the phone anymore when I see it's from this outfit.  I have asked them in the past to remove my name from their lists; the calls stop for awhile, then start up again.  I'm about ready to register a complaint with the state Attorney General since I'm on our state no-call list.

Call 5pm 12/29/08, said they were from Telefund in reference to some non-profit that I had contributed to without disclosing which one.  No message or details. Seems odd.

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago but did not answer. The odd thing is that I have not given my cell number to any campaigns/causes since I donated to the Kerry campaign over four years ago. (Learned my lesson with that one - four years of "Unknown" calling at all hours.) Now, anytime I make a donation, I give the landline number, which is only used for connecting to the Internet. It irks me to no end that my cellphone number is still on someone's list. Too bad my airtime provider doesn't offer call block.

This "individual" keeps calling. I can't wait until call blocking becomes a cell phone feature!  Obviously a telemarketer.

I didn't make any contributions to Hillary or Obama and I get those calls ... although I did make a contribution to the Human Rights Campaign.

Calls at least once per day, has been going on for months.  Never leaves a message, usually no one there when you pick up.  This evening I picked up and actually got a human.  He said he was fundraising for the Democratic National Committee, and got huffy when I asked him to take me off his list.

Telefund is a for-profit company.

Thank you for posting the information about the 304 extention.  I called and left a request to place me on their DO NOT CALL list.  Our daughter no doubt contributed to a progressive cause or campaign but has not been available to take calls at this early EST evening hour.  Whatever good it may have done, it is nonetheless best to cancel the nuissance.

Calls at least twice every other night. First call: A man asks for me by name. Second call: no one speaks. Sometimes there is a third and fourth call. No one speaks.

Bizarre.  Left a message.  Was rambling on about being repeatedly searched by the police and getting hassled for carrying a knife and searched by the polcie for playing his music too loud.  Maybe he thought he was leaving a message for a friend and had the wrong number or he started to talk to a coworker while calling me.

I've gotten at least 2 calls a night for the last 4 nights on my land-line.  It's a long distance call (my phone has a special ring for long distance) and since I have realtives out of town, I answer.  Then there is no reply. Very irratating.  I don't have caller ID so I can't tell ahead of time what the call is.I have not given any donations that I can think of so don't know how they got my no.  I used the trace last call no. to find out who it was and this is the no. that came back.
