This company calls every night between 8:45 and 9:00 p.m. - extremely irritating.

They solicit funds for progressive causes. Call them, they'll remove your number within 24 hrs. if you dial 304 and then leave your number.

National campaign for Obama soliciting contributions.  Apparently, I wrote a check to the local Democratic party some time ago and some how my name and mobile phone number gets on Obama's campaign list!?! Nothing like this has ever happened before.  First phone solicitation on my cell phone (just a little scary)...  Anyway, the operator asked if I could donate $50 to the cause.  I told her I was undecided and not inclined to donate.  She asked if I was thinking about voting for McCain.  I laughed and restated that I was undecided...

Still a bit annoying.  Maybe this is a call center for different causes.  Any other details from any of the rest of you?

I don't know what this number is but they call on my BOYFRIEND'S CELL!! They say it is for human rights campaign... HUH??  I never use his cell or give anybody his number. Very strange. They have called three times this week so far. Never relay a message through him just say they will call back. Annoying.

I've had five calls so far. I just called to have my number removed. Let's see if it works.

Just called them and asked to be removed, as well--I've been getting multiple calls many times a day for weeks.

I actually used to work for this company....i was in college and desperate for money....if they call you just tell them you want to be removed, dont hassle them, the company itself gets there phone numbers after you sign up for something or donate to something.....

Calls every day for over two weeks.  Twice requested they remove my number from their lists.  Guy hung up on me.   I mean really, they interrupt you every day and think you should be nice?  The company is Telefund, Inc with addresses in Los Angeles.   The first time I answered they tried to say it was for the Democratic nominee BUT they never mention him by name.  Thought that was a bit odd.  After some internet searching I discovered they call for almost anyone who hires them. So who really knows where the money they solicit really goes.  I think they are a fraud.

Like described above, constant calls, never a message.  I call the number, dialed the extension for being added to the do not call list, and got: "The  mailbox is full. Goodbye."

I've made a couple of Obama donations.  Don't know if that's why they have my number.  You'd think they'd be smart enough to not harass those who already donate.

304 is the extension number you need to dial once you've called the Telefund number.

If you've made any donations to Obama or Hillary this what you get for your generosity...telemarketing calls.

Message, when I called this number, claims that they are soliciting for non-profit organizations.  This status makes them exempt from the Do Not Call rules; I finally was able to leave my message on an extension which states that they would remove me from their list. I have not had any more calls.  I did report them to the local BBB, and they stated that I had no address for the company, so they couldn't help me. I will leave it unless the calls continue.

Try calling back again, during business hours in California, and on a week day. I did so, and left my request to be removed from their list, and have not been bothered since. I also told them I was filing a report with the BBB, and would take legal acton if they did not quit calling me. It was always in the evening. If you can't leave a message on the extension they tell you to, leave your message on one of the other extensions. Good luck.

Have gotten two very eerie calls on my answering machine from this number. It's just sort of like white noise with what almost sound like muffled screams of terror in the background, like what the kid heard on the TV in "Poltergeist." Kind of amusing, but kind of disturbing, too. I thought maybe it was a Halloween-related prank. But after seeing these writeups, it's probably because I've been a donor to Obama & other liberal/progressive causes. I'm thinking of taping the sounds & playing them on a tape loop for Halloween background "music."
