When I answer they disconnect, when I call back busy.

I started receiving phone calls from this number approx. a week ago.  Same thing everyone else is stating...no on answers when you say hello.

i've gotten numerous phone calls from this number and when i finally picked up they just hung up the phone and when i called back it was busy..this is gettin rediculus!!!!

Continually getting calls on my cell phone from 1-213-533-8042. There is no voice mail and  every time I call back it is busy. VEry bothersome!

These people started calling me a few weeks ago asking do i want to start a business with goggle and I told them no. my husband called the number and some guy on the other line told him that he was my boyfriend and that we talk every night. Of course that caused a problem with my husband and I. I am so happy that I am not the only get harassed by these people.

they called me and put me on hold.then i told them on tuesday january 1rst to stop calling me. they just called me a few minutes ago. if someone know how to make these calls stop please let me know.

call and hang up no message

Got a call from this number at my business. Some foreigner getting information about businesses in order to be featured high on search engines Google, Yahoo, AOL, and MSN for the next upcoming month. Then comes the sales pitch: If we wish to continue, a sales rep will come around with a contract and we will be billed $49.95 per month. If we wish not to continue, we must notify them at the end of the featured monthly period.

I said not interested. End of conversation.

On Jan. 2nd, 2008 at approximately 6:00 p.m. I started getting calls from this phone number 1-213-533-8042. And at which time they called back several times and would hang up when I answered the phone.

They have called me three times today, and I'm sure they will continue.  Everytime I answer they hang up! How annoying.

BOTH BUSH's SUCKS. They are evil.

have called my cell phone several times, when i call back it is always busy.  i do not answer any long distance number if do not recognize it as there are so many scams, you don't know what charges you may incur.  i have placed my cell phone on several no call lists and these call continue to get through.  what does it take?!!!

I have found mulitple websites that list complaints from people who are getting multiple calls from who ever this is. My husband is currently deployed overseas and sometimes calls at odd hours - so i always try to answer my phone...this has become very ANNOYING. I have tried to contact my cell phone provider - Nextel - and spoke to 2 different people and they both said that there is nothing they can do (they can not block a number). If they call me again I am going to call the BBB and report them

I hda to laugh out loud at that one JoJo. THat's hillarious. I'd do the same, but the jerks always hang up as soon as i answer. THey leave no message when i don't, they call all hours of the day or night - on my cell phone! and when i call them i get a busy signal. It's driving me batty i don't care if it's non-profit or for-profit...harrassment is harrassment...no matter who it's from. It's still from someone. I reported it to the FCC too, but from the sound of it they are doing a piss poor job of dealing with it...so forget this........im forwarding this site, and my complaint to the news...maybe they will rattle their cage........we can hope can't we? I know im sick of late night phone calls!! That's for sure...i say everyone do the same...keep reporting to the fcc but also forward your complaint to the news. Then maybe something will actually happen. I would just like to see them do one of their special undercover investigations on these [***] and really blow them out of the water. Now that too would be a laugh out loud moment. Good luck everyone!!!

I SENT A MESSAGE TO THE FOX NEWS TEAM................

I have been getting regular phonecalls from a number that always hangs up when i pick up, they never leave a message when i dont and it's always busy when you call back. They call at all hours of the day and night and when i googled it i discovered that it is a disgustingly common occurance among many other people as well. And they call both landlines as well as cell phones as they did with my cell. The problem is that many people have been reporting to the FCC but a few people said that they got letters from the FCC stating that they could do nothing about it. One letter stated that they were listed as a non-profit orginization so they could do nothing about it. But regardless of what kind of business it is, they are in the business of harrassing people. They called during my phone call with my husband in iraq. Again later during my phone call to my mother in law to update her on her sons welfare and then again at 10:08pm when i was getting ready for bed. It's insane! I just wish i could atleast know who to call to get them to stop calling but i cannot even do that. Others have gotten a person occassionally when they answer and then when they request their numbers be removed they call more frequently instead. If the FCC wont stop them do you think that the media could help atleast rattle their cage and get them to stop even if it's for a little while. I used to get these calls in washington and i changed my number and now i am in colorado and still getting the same calls on a different number. The number they are calling from today is 213-533-8042 and i dare you to google that number and see what you get! All complaints and stories that sound exactly the same. or very similar. hey i'm in tahoe and this company so they say there from has been scamming people all across the country i was lucky enough to get the police involved , i work for a NBC   affiliate so they were traced hopefully things will get resolved quickly . don't call me a bleepn [***] !!!!!!!!!
