Said they detected a problem with my personal computer.  I asked for her phone number, which I got on caller ID, and she said, "Just forget about it." and hung up.

Wow!  This is pretty funny!  All the different spoofed Caller ID names.  Well, let's throw this one in the hat:  Royal Bus Bank.  After reading the above messages I have added it to my call blocker until they use another spoofed number and name.

IT Spammer. Caller had thick accent and wanted to talk to one of our employees.

@Nork  I also got a call from : Royal Bus Bank. Asked to be transferred to one of our employees. Good thing I looked this number up before I did as they asked. No that employee does not take calls from people like you.

Poor call quality. So obviously NOT calling from within the USA.
Hung up before she could tell me who she was calling for.

i received a call today from 213-640-3024 caller ID says ticketmaster. I answered the call the lady said she was from the federal government and that they were granting me $9000 this is not a loan. they are giving me this money because I have  always paid my taxes on time and never been arrested. etc etc then i said who did you say was giving me this money she said the federal gov i asked from what country she says USA i said really. then she says the only way they can give me this money is to give them my bank account number or a credit card that they can add it to. lol i said have them mail me a check but they  cant do that so do i forfeit the money.  you think click

Scam!!!!! This was our conversation...So, I just received a call from 213-640-3025
"PC SOLUTIONS" warning me that my windows computer had viruses. He was not a happy camper by the end of the call!
It went like this...
Him- I'm calling from PC solutions blah blah blah.
Me- ok.
Him- I'm calling because your computer has serious viruses.
Me- huh?
Him- yes, you computer has taken on little viruses in which over time will cause huge problem.
Me- hmm ok.
Him- ok?
Me- yeah, because I don't have a computer!
Him- then why did you keep saying ok when I was talking, are you F-ing stupid or something?
Me- no, not really, but I am the wrong person to be calling stupid, thats a good way to get yourself really hurt.
Him- mumbling under his breath, talking to whomever was next to him.
Me- hello?
Him- I'm coming to rob and take everything you have and own.
Me- ok, that's you call.
Him- do you know Jack Sparrow?
Me- Umm, the pirate?
Him- yes, I'm his brother, and I'm going to steal your house on trailer with your woman and daughter.
Me- yeah, you obviously don't know me at all, but yeah, come on.
Me- is there anything else?
Him- What?
Me- do you need something else?
Him- F No, F U, Giggling with his other scammer friends trying to play it off as he slams down the phone!

Not a bank I recognized. I didn't pickup and they didn't leave a message.

Ticketmaster calling to let me know my computer has viruses and that the US Government is giving ma a grant that I don't have to pay back and I am also eligible for a free back brace and knee brace and I'm getting a free alarm system and first alert machine and my business is getting a $250,000 guaranteed loan and I won a free cruise and I can get a warranty for my car that covers 100% of everything with no deductible - told Apu...I mean "Robert" that I'm not doing anything until I can speak to Rachel about lowering my credit card interest rate.

Received call.  Individual spoke broken English and stated it was courtesy call for my computer software.  All I said was I knew it was a scam and they replied how would it be a scam if they had my computer license number.  I responded it is called hacking and computer viruses.  They immediately hung up confirming that it was indeed a scam.  Watch out they are phishing for information.  Do not trust them.

Unsolicited call - Ticketmaster - Man with accent from India said my home computer is sending error messages to a server. I asked him for his number, he gave me a Connecticut number. I asked him where he was calling from he said Los Angeles. When I told him the number he gave me is from Connecticut, he hung up. He was aggressive in stating that my home computer has a virus.

Called me the 2nd time within an hour. No message left. I don't know the called, I don't answer.

Received a call from someone named David, said he's calling from windows technical support and there's a virus on my computer. I asked for the company info and he said the company is located in Bloomington, Delaware and their number is 818-855-9970 (clearly a California area code).

Answered call. Claimed our computer was messed up.  THAT'S A BIG FAT NEGATIVE GHOST RIDER...

The caller id said Royal Bus Bank on 11/17/16 at 8:51p.m. CT. The # was 213-640-3052. I answered. The man asked to speak to my deceased mother by first name. I said she is not here may I take a message and he replied no message call back. # is now blocked. My mother has been deceased over 10 yrs and only used this # in 2003 when she lived with me but it was never listed as her #. Very strange.

Came through as an imate call from Washoe county jail in Reno NV on an LA number.
Fake.

They called me, tried the Dept of Education ploy. Told the caller he had reached the United States Secret Service Tele-Fraud Unit.  <click>  :-)

Caller ID showed Ticketmaster.  Caller with heavy Indian accent claimed to be with Publishers Clearing House. I had won $2 million dollars AND a Mercedes Benz! I told him it sounded like BS to me and to not call again.  He replied, "Well F*** you, you dirty [***]!" and then proceeded to use all his swear words and pornographic language.  Get a real job, dude!

I answer in spanish and a machine says "good bye" got a private call before this number call
