The caller had an accent and i could hear other people talking as if multiple conversations in the background

Had a middle East accent said the work for the federal government. 30 minutes earlier called from a Washington DC number. I told him it was scam before he gave his pitch..told him never call me again. He told it was [***] I said that..and hung up on me.

Suspected spam call, didn't answer

Total Spam/Scammer. First it was a lady (I think they were just trying to get me to say "yes") told me she's with PC solutions. Then it cut off the lady & went to a man with an accent telling me my computer is sending them messages. I started asking him the questions and told him I was on the do not call registry and he hung up.

Called asking for my son (13yo).  I asked who was calling and he didn't give a name but said he was calling regarding a Federal Grant.  He tried to confirm if I was my son and when I said, "again that is my minor son, you can talk to me" barely finished the sentence and he hung up on me.  UNBELIEVEABLE!

SCAM.
These people just don't give up... This scam has been running for well over 5 years...
They will want to let them have access to your computer... (to FIX it ha ha.)
If you let them take control of your computer remotely,,, well, you are screwed.
They then hold your computer as a hostage... (by installing a program on it.)
I don't care where it says they are calling from, They are located in Pakistan. Their government really doesn't care.

Never talk to anyone that calls YOU out of the blue that YOU do not personally know.
Knowing my name is not a valid reason to think they know me... I'm in the phone book... duh.

I got 3 calls a day from these people. Always with different number and accents asking for Jonathan. Why aren't they investigated? It sucks!

This person also used these numbers: 356-763-223 and 800-292-666.  He called my place of employment as well
and asked for me.  He then threatened me-told me he knew my address and he did and then said he would come and "F....me up"  as I called him on his scam. Very creepy!

Received call from an Indian saying I got a grant but had to contact her senior advisor to get it, gave me a # 202-695-2660 to call. Blocked number as scammer.

Caller with changing accent, said US Federal Government Grant Department. I said I couldn't understand his accent, if it's legit call, please have someone that speaks clear English call back, caller said "because you're an idiot! Oh, [***]!" & hung up.

Received call today from this number. At first it came up as unknown so I couldn't block it and it was a male voice with a very heavy accent stating he was from Microsoft and that my computer had been compromised. My computer has actually not been working for a while so I bit at first and then he tried to give me a very long number and I could not understand what he was saying so he eventually gave the phone to a woman who also had a thick accent and I just hung up. The woman then called me back immediately and yelled that I needed to get in front of my computer immediately and I hung up again. Clearly a scam.

Scam !! They call themselves "Ticketmaster" on the caller ID and then claim to be able to fix your PC. So obviously a scam. I blocked them right away.

I just received a call on my cell. It was a recording with a female voice stating that I owe the IRS and there was a warrant out for my arrest if I do not pay. Clearly a scam!

Received a call at 7:17 am. I do not know anyone in LA that would be up this early or be rude enough to call at that time. I did not answer and 15 minutes later I got a call from an obvious spoofed number with the same first 6 numbers as my number. Do not answer calls from numbers you don't recognize and block them. If you owe money to the government they will send you a physical bill through the mail. If it's a legit business trying to get a hold of you they will leave a message.

Well, the scam they are running from this number has changed from 2016 to 2017.  The call comes from (213)640-3024 and the automated recorded female voice was poor quality, but easy to understand. It claimed they are the IRS tax crime unit and a warrant issued against me, and told me I and all my property are being monitored.  BUT

Their call-back number is given twice:  509-204-3160 - which is a phone number in state of Washington.

Caller ID said the number belongs to Royal Bus Bank and I received 2 calls within 20 minutes of each this morning. My caller ID app reports the number as a fraud alert and area code based in Los Angeles. I didn't see or know this when listening to the voice caller ID announcing the call info and also did not answer because if I don't recognize a name or number and not a contact, I no longer answer unknown and unfamiliar call.
