I got a phone call from 213-976-5000 but no message.
Thanks for information sugarbear. Now I know it is a scam.

I received a call from this number and my number is not a California number so I'm not happy to receive a california number calling me on the East Coast!!

Calls without leaving messages from 213 976 3000 and 213 976 5000 with caller ID 'California' on my business line six times over past three days. What can be done to stop this caller (from the other posts it appears to be telemarketing gone bad)? Can you put your business phone on a do not call list?

I have received about 3 or 4 calls from this number over the last several weeks. Calls like these are scams. They work one or two.different ways: first, they are fishing for your personal info. Second, there is a good chance they want to run your cell bill up.  By keeping you on line they can charge however much they want to your bill. The old 1-2: they waste your time AND steal your money! Tell the phone company in CA or one of the consumer protection agencies there.

(213) 976-5000 called me today and asked for "Daddy Ritz", and I said excuse me? And they just sat there on the line, I just laughed and hung up. I should have messed with them... :(

HAHAHAHHAHAH, I should start doing that!

yesterday this number called 3 times in less than 10 minutes. After the first time, I waited to give time to leave a message (2 minutes) and when I picked up to check the messages, they were calling again. So I waited another 2 minutes, picked up the phone to check and they called again. None of the times did they leave a message.
Today they called again and I picked up. A woman asked for my husband and I said he wasn't there, did she want to leave a message? She said no, she'd call back.

They call at my work phone number a couple times a day.

I received 30 phone calls from this number while I was out of town.  Guess they did not get the hint when I did not answer the first few times, eh!

this number calls constantly to the switchboard at my company.  they ask for people that do not exist.  i tell them that we have no ppl by those names and to please stop calling but they call over and over and over and over with lists of names.  they don't even speak english well.  i have tried to call them back but the number is a fake. i want to zap their azz so bad.

Called my job twice... too slow to answer so I hang up. Obviously a call center!

just got a call from this number, very scratchy bad connection with hard-to-understand guy.  guy wanted to speak to my boss...said he's not here..wanted to know if I was the secretary...said nope...wanted to offer us a sub to pc magazine...told him we were a plumber, not interested and hung up on him.

Have received a call for the past 3 days (Dec. 1-3).  I haven't answered.  It just says its a California number.
