Called just now, wanted to speak to our old IT person. I told them that this person is no longer here...can I take a message. Insisted that I send them to the NEW IT person. I said I can take a message...she said it was in regards to a magazine subscription. I told her we are not subscribing to magazines now and she sighed and said it's a free magazine. I told her were are not interested and hung up.

I received a phone call today on a work voicemail. It was from this same number 213-976-5000, but just listed XXXXXXXXXX CA as the callerID. Thanks for educating us on this scam artist Sugarbear.  These sort of folks need a close watch after my wife having been a victim of identity theft in the past.

The only way we stop this sort of stuff is to alert each other and web sites like this certainly help.  Sort of like Crime Stoppers

Got a call this morning around 10:00am at this number: 213-976-5000

Caller asked me to subscribe to computer world magazine and asked me a few questions for a free subscription. Typical sort of boilerplate answers required for free magazines, etc.

I received a call from 213-976-5000 5 minutes ago.  It sounded like a bad connection (I'm guessing electronic voice disguise).  The caller insisted he was calling about a free subscription and needed to "verify some information".  I abruptly accused him for trying to sell me something, told him I would remember ordering a magazine and insisted he had the wrong number.  He asked if I was Mr. [blah] (I couldn't understand) and I politely replied "nope".  He was out of ideas and hung up.

Caller ID shows Inf Provider CA, 213-976-5000. Recorded message left is an ad for Suburban Debt Solutions (other names used on other occasions). The number for Suburban is 866-203-9552. Dozens of calls over the past three months. Creepy!

Received a missed call from this number. No message.

Called 2 times within 2 minutes> Found that they are a scam company known as Global Reach International. Here are some other numbers for them.

I keep getting calls from this number on my cell phone too, with no one responding if I answer.
What I've experienced in the recent past is that I get these phone calls with nobody on the other end, hang up, and within a minute or two I get a text telling my my bank account has been compromised and I need to call their phone number right away.
It's a pattern of blank phone calls, followed by a text message.  I think they send the text only if someone picks up the phone call.
I've since blocked all texts from my phone plan.
I don't like texts anyways.
I do NOT like these people, may they spend the rest of their lives in prison, it's a good place for them!

Received calls from this number over the past week. did not answer until today. I jumped through their hoops for a minute then realised what was going on and hung up. they proceeded to call me 3 times in a row, to which i did not answer. What worries me is they had my name and address. All i can think is maybe Bank of America sold my info as they have warned theyd do. regardless not happy about this and would like to find some sort of resolution.

keep calling me and not leaving a message at all hoours.

Getting 2-3 calls a week for about a month.  I'm starting to get irritated!

I got a call from this number today with no message.

They just called my house and asked for my husband.  I said he is not home.  They asked when will he be home.  I told them in the evening, but may I ask what this is concerning.  They told me they just needed to verify some information in order to process the magazine subscription to some food magazine.  That was an instant tip to me that it was a spoof.  My husband never cooks.  So I told them I knew nothing about the subcription and they hung up.

I filed a complaint too. Get multiple calss daily
