Left no message, but here is my message to the morons and losers who set up these robotic calls. Your call is now blocked with my call-blocking Panasonic phone.  And guess what jerks? No ring when you call back!  We will eventually win.  Just imagine if 300 of you creeps called 100 numbers each and nobody answered?  Assuming no duplicated numbers, that’s 30,000 phones that are not answered!  (I know you can’t do the simple math.)  So why don’t you go back to school and finish your 4th-grade education?
    Then, get a real job.

If this useless Congress wasn't in bed with the Telecomm lobbyists
we wouldn't be getting all these criminals trying to fleece people over
the phone. Just once I'd like to hear of a politician taking them on.
It will never happen and unfortunately, its a fact of life we'll all have
    to live with.

One thing is for sure, the Do Not Call Registry is worthless. They
have never prosecuted a single case of telephone-related fraud.

Guy telling me I have been selected for a 'Free Cruise to the Bahamas'.
    Scam-Scum.
Half of these are scams with multiple upfront fees for the 'free' trip that proves nearly impossible to actually take (but no refund of your 'processing fee'.  The other half are outright criminal scum stealing from you with no possible cruise.  Besides, I have been to the Bahamas and never-ever want to go back.

Some interesting comments on this number today.  Here's my thoughts on things (if you're interested)

    The Do Not Call List:
Whether it's legit, whether it works, whether you have to sign up / resign up every x years.  I've come to realize it's not done anything for me in the last 5 - 7 years either way.  Maybe late 90s early 2000s it was working (because I didn't get any calls on my cellphone).  However, now-a-days I go through phases getting 1 - 5 calls a day for a random amount of days/weeks then silence.

    What I'll Do
There's no pattern to the madness, but this is what I've decided to do to "fight" against these numbers:
    1. Every time I get a number that's not in my contacts, whether I decide to answer or ignore I come to this website and look up the number for details.
    2. Depending on what this site says about the number will determine my next step
      a. If scam comments - I block it through my mobile call blocker app.
      b. If legit - I might call back, if they leave a message.
    3. Comment on this site to help build the "database" of junk phone numbers.

I feel doing this is much more helpful then adding my number to a huge list at some website with billions of others.  At least I leave with:
    1. The feeling I might help someone else who gets called by the same number.
    2. Gives me a chance to come up with some funny/witty comment about the spam company and either get like/dislikes from y'all
    3. Some gratification that I wasn't TOTALLY lazy and did something. :-D

Conclusion (if you got this far): I actually answered this call.  Here's the step-by-step actions I took:
    Me: "Hello..."
    Them: <silence>
Me: <looks at phone to see if it answered> "HELLO?"
    Them: <silence>
Me: "HeeeellLLLOOOOooooo"  <thinks> "You fell for it, you know, even if someone does say something by now you know it's a scam.  Just hang up and go to 800notes.com and do your thing" <hangs up>

Now I'll go block this number.

Left no message. Just another scam. This is the 4th telephone scam I've received today. I never answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. If any of them call again, they will be blocked.

Fortunately I didn't hear the call; my phone only reported "missed call" -- no voice message. Sigh.

I agree with Joe & Craig regarding the "Do Not Call Registry" the only callers that abide by that are places of business that respect it, as for the Robo/spam callers they do not they change their numbers often in hopes that they don't get caught.  I have been on the Do Not call list for over 15 years & now I get them more often & recently now my cell phone.  I don't answer any area code that I recognize.  But this website helps me to spot them so much better then anything else.  Thanks 800 Notes!

I got this call, did not answer.  Since it is a scam I saved the number in my contacts and set the ring tone to "no ring".  They can call until the cows come home and it will not ring on my phone.
