FCC should crack down on telemarketers and fraud scammers instead of limiting Net Neutrality and concentrate to help consumers

Called my cell.  Female robo call stated I've "stayed at a resort" recently and have won a reduced rate package to somewhere near DisneyWorld.  Blocked.

Unsolicited call.  Nuisance.

Talked over the top of my demand to take my name off the list and never call this number again.
Some kind of resort...either telemarketer or scam

did not pick up and no message. weird was it gave two (1)’s for country code, and said “united states” for location. def a scammer!

They set people up & bait them by pressing a certain key to be placed on “do not call list” according to scam buster web sites. I am not sure what happens after that... I think I read they can steal cell phone data? Not sure how that is possible. I would read up on it. I think ithis defines “phishing.” Hopefully it doesn’t mean they’ve hacked your phone.

Just wondering how you researched this? Which site you discovered info on? Sounds like a good resource. One site called whocallus.com gives latitude & longitude of where call actually comes from. One call said on caller ID that it was coming from Port St Lucia FL but site said it was actually coming from the Sprint Store on Figueroa & Avenue 58 in Los Angeles... down the street.

That’s insane! What did you do next? Were they able to hack your computer and do all of that just from answering the phone??? I knew there was ulterior motive but who would ever think they’d have the capability to do THAT? Did you have to close bank  account to prevent future fraud? Would like to know what actions you attempted to take action. This is an old post so apparently nothing was done about it?!
