A robocall from this Los Angeles VOIP number arrived today.  When the call rolled to voice mail, the caller left no message, only silence.

According to www.whitepages.com this number is association with "scam or fraud."  Is that an understatement, or what?  Most posters have identified the caller as a vacation giveaway scammer, with Disneyland, the Bahamas, or elsewhere as the lure.

DO NOT BECOME A VICTIM.  DO NOT ANSWER CALLS FROM THIS NUMBER.

This is a SCAM operation phishing for personal data and trying to lure in suckers with scammy "free tickets". As others above suggest, don't answer the number or talk to the scam shysters running this racket -- just hang up on the cretins. In addition to all of the Federal regulations violated by these idiots, they have the gall to call on a Sunday! Number blocked.

Received call from this number. I didn't answer, no voice message was left.

Called today. Said I won two tickets to the Bahamas and just had to do a short survey. Automated recording. Yeah, I don't trust that.

As soon as I answered, phone went dead!

Unknown caller, but after reading that it's some kind of scam, blocked the number.  Bye-bye caller.

First of all, you need to report them donotcall.gov  DONT BE LAZY, Report them. Yes it works, just report them.

Second, they are a Green Energy Survey, sponsored by National Statistical Studies. They are also with Green Study Course regarding Fossil Fuels bull survey.

Then they say you get free cruise. It's a scam. They are actually skip tracers looking for contact information on where you are, where you live but hide behind being a cruise giveaway. Highly illegal.

You need to report them to donotcall.gov

You also need to get a service that blocks these numbers like ooma.com or similar.
