"Hello, my name is Elizabeth. . . ." says a recording; you cannot interrupt--being a recording, it just goes on. Hang up.

NEVER, EVER, NEVER, EVER ANSWER AN UNKNOWN NUMBER.  I almost got scammed out of $3000 before I caught on...and when I did, and said, "Nope, can't pay that!"  They said "Yes, you can!"  And the next thing I saw was MY FACE as I was talking to them on MY laptop computer - which was on my lap.  AND my two-word protected online bank account appeared next.

no VM, Blocked

No message.

Called today, left no VM. We will not answer any calls we don't know the number and since no VM, we blocked this number!

I've stopped answering my cell phone unless it's a number I know.  It just rang a few minutes ago and I ignored it.  It was this number so I'm glad I didn't answer (I have a limited number of minutes with my plan)

Calls frequently, never leaves a message, always evidence of a scammer telemarketer. Now blocked.

No message or anything, I called back but the number was ‘busy’

Obvious robo. Interrupted dinner.

No message. Insta-blocked.

Scam. Talked a mile a minute and said I stayed with their "Resort" and now have enough points for a free vacation, etc. Blocked.

They called two times: once yesterday and about a week ago. I don't recognize the number.
No message  but online reports indicate a similar pattern. Must be a scam or prankster.

Why on Earth would you call back an unknown number who refused to leave a message?

I've taken steps that have completely eliminated these "interruptions".

Buy a "challenge-response" type call blocker.  They work on landlines...every time...with NO rings.

Received a call. Didn't leave a message. I'm sure it was a very important call though lol.

Robocall, Disneyland ticket scam.

Would not identify who they were.  Informed me I had won free tickets to Disneyland.  Required that I give them my credit card information.  Scam!

God's work would be to strike these scammers with a lightning bolt!
