How many times will this sick company get away with this?  People, we know where they're located, have their phone numbers, so WHY is nothing being done?  Why are they not sitting in jail where they belong?  They are doing dishonest business and it looks like time and again they're getting away with it!!!  Makes me sick.  I just have to keep reminding myself that someday will be judgement day for them................

I dealt with this company this morning and I filed complaints with BBB & Federal Trade Commission.  I have had numerous bill collectors contact me through the years and never had anyone be so rude and demeaning as this company. They called every member in my household concerning debt and threatened court process and private investigation of our assets.  My son even thought they were coming to get his toys for payment.  He was so upset.  I have never had anyone talk to me this way and I would recommend if you ever get a phone call from them, just hanging up and not giving them the time of day.  I don't understand from this thread why this business is still operating since there have been so many complaints.  Very unprofessional business that needs to be shut down and the collectors need to self examine why they are talking to people the way they are for a paycheck.  It's just wrong.

Listen... We are a collection company. When someone owes you money, and isnt even TRYING to pay you, what would you consider them? Not good businessmen, and not good people thats for sure. Your in business to make money, not give away money, and when someone is LITERALLY stealing from you, may it be equipment or services, they need to be handled. If YOU make and agreement, UNDER CONTRACT and don't handle said issue then you have no right to complain when someone comes to take that money. You claim we are the scum of the earth, yet your willing to steal from another company, whos just trying to stay afloat as you are, and claim that your in the right? Need I say more? Yes actually

Now in regards to those who were customers at one point, its truly delusional to claim that you obtained your money on your own. You had not been payed for an allotted time, may it be one day past contract, or 365, and nothing you did on your own made that client pay you, yet within 1-2 weeks of us being on the case you miraculously received payment? Shock and awe aside, you owe us our fee. EVEN IF WE DID NOTHING, which is impossible, and you received your payment after signing our contract you would STILL OWE US OUR MONEY. You signing our contract and not paying us is just like your debtor signing their net 30 agreement and not paying you. Are we to look at you as a friend any longer? NO. Your now robbing from US.

To those that are receiving phone calls from us and feel herassed, when you as a secretary claim that your boss "is not there" when he is, your clearly lying to us, when you claim "he's not available" you are also lying to us, and when you instantiate the hostility via "CAN I HELP YOU!? NO, CAN I HELP YOU!?" How are we to respond? With a bundle of kittens? Of course we will be frustrated. You as the "Gatekeeper" are more scandalous then  a majority of the people you are complaining about. And you the owners are no different! Even if you receive 500 solicitations a day, how can you demand common curtousy if you don't offer it to anyone else?  When we get on the phone and hear "NOT INTERESTED NEVER CALL ME AGAIN" before we say a word of course we will raise our tone, we have to in order to attract your jaded attention. And when you proceed to lie to us constantly with "I NEVER LOOK AT MY AGING REPORT AND NO ONE EVER GOES OVER 30 DAYS" Are we too say "Yes sir, your totally right, your business is immaculate and you of course wouldn't need to ever look at your aging report because your business is perfect, i will never call you again sir" Heck no, because you are clearly lying to us. Again I say, don't claim that we are scum until you evaluate why our actions might seem so negative. Evaluate yourself.

Yeah im aware of theses guys. They are an all inclusive cluster of odd balls and crooks. What's funny is for all the big talk the businss lives check to check. They have no reach or funds to support any of there threats. Wanna be's.

What's funny is that all of these complaints are completely true.

This company lies almost 100% of the time. They lie just to give you thier car salesman speech. They repeat the same thing over and over again. You wouldn't believe the turnover this company has. When I worked there, the longest a telemarketer had worked there was 2 weeks. They even had some punk 18 year old kid there on the phones. This is how there organization works. They have a room with 12 computers and phones all together and an auto dialer. ANY INFORMATION THEY TELL YOU IS A COMPLETE LIE. THEY TELL THE SAME THING TO EVERYONE. IF YOU EVER CONSIDER DOING BUSINESS WITH THEM ASK YOU THEM TO SEND IT TO YOU IN WRITING . THEY WILL TRY TO GET YOU TO GIVE THEM A FAX NUMBER. They never want to tell you thier terms. They want 1/3 of the debt they collect. YOU CAN TELL THEM TO TAKE YOUR NUMBER OFF THIER CALL LIST, THEY WONT AND THEY DEFINATLY DONT CARE. WHATS REALLY FUNNY IS THAT MARK WOLF GUY... WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT? HE SAYS THE SAME THREATS TO EVERYONE. HE REALLY HAS NO LEGAL POWER, HES JUST A BALD FAT UGLY BULLY LOL.

I QUIT THIS COMPANY AND NEVER LOOKED BACK. I'M HONESTLY STILL SUPRISED THEY ARE IN BUSINESS.

I am receiving calls from another number listed as 214 666-2055.
this is a guy calling himself Mark Fieldman and said he represents our comany and wanted to make sure I was able to collect the debt owed to us.
total BS and he stumbled through the call. I am glad this site exists. it really helped us know if this was a fake. things are hard enough out there without this kind of BS.

Caller "David Cox", aka Mark Wolf called several times for a bill we do not owe.  Used obseneties and name calling.  Unbelievable the conversations with this man.

As expected, Mark Wolff (aka Ted Johnson) has resurfaced.  He is the principal of a new firm, Edward Wolff & Associates, 500 N. Central Expry. Atrium Building Ste. # 375 Plano, TX  75074  214-269-8285.  If you were getting calls from Ranger, you will probably get them from the new entity as well.  Do not expect a different type of organization here, as I seriously doubt that Mark has the ability to change in any meaningful, positive way.

Also, the Chapter 11 Bankruptcy of Ranger Financial has been dismissed...apparently, they couldn't follow the rules for that, either.  If they owe you money, you are now free to call them.  If you do, please be every bit as decent, nice and polite to them as they have been to you.

Thanks for the information on the new location. Kurt Kuhio Walker, President of Ranger Financial did file a Chapter 11 in Jan 12 but this was dismissed in May 12.  He now has filed a Chapter 7.  It will likely be thrown out by Judge of BK court.  If these guys have done you wrong, focus on Edward Wolff & Associates. These guys are going to be held individually responsible for wrongs done at Ranger Financial.  There is no Corporate immunity for those who violate the Texas Law of Agency, the corporate veil does not cover fraudulent acts and collecting money and not paying the client is fraud and a violation of the Trust provisions of the Law of Agency.
If anybody needs the definitive guidelines on how to pursue these guys until they are locked up, inquire here.
