Received call from 214-283-1316  - I was already on a call it came through on call waiting.. The caller ID showed a Steve B. calling.. when I was done with my original call.. I tried calling the number and a recording said - "No Longer In Service"

Why answer the call to begin with.  If you don't recognize the number, don't take the call.  I get calls all the time and never pick up.  If it's important, the party calling will leave a msg.

Got a call from this number @ 6:17 pm, 7 July 14, Retired now so I might start pickin up  just to [***] with em' and then report them. Info is its Verizon number that has been changed/disconnected/or out of service. The root is Verizon and it needs ripped out of the ground and their CEO needs to be hung from the nearest tree or lamp post!!!

Return call reported the number has been disconnected.

The spammers just generate number with software. They don't have to search anywhere.

I don't know anyone named "Survey" so I didn't answer...and any one who thinks it's okay to call me after 9:00pm will be getting an ear full...just ask the moron who called me at 12:30am.

This number called me on 7/13/14. They wanted me to do a survey. I mean really, calling on a Sunday. I just hung up on them. I will not do surveys. Waist of time. Surveys are still telemarketers and should be reported. If it's somebody that you do business with then you'd think they would take the time to send you something in the mail to be filled out and sent back to them. They didn't even say who they were with. I would appreciate not getting anymore calls from them.

I am so sick of these g.d solicitation calls I could puke.  What good is the Do Not Call List?  I called the number back at 214-283-1316 and it says the number I have dialed has been disconnected.  This is what happens on this Microsoft Technical Support scam.  You call the number back and it doesn't work.  Let's face it, the FCC and the US government as a whole (hole) just doesn't work!

The Do Not Call List law is a list of phone numbers where the owner does not want calls and a law banning calls to those numbers.  Honest telemarketers - the photograpy studios and time share pests that used to call - follow the law and have stopped calling.  Politicians and charities are exempt from the law.  For a scammer it one more law to break.  

Many scammers operate from outside the US in 3rd world countries where scamming dumb Americans is not a crime.  US law enforcement cannot operate in those countries.  

If you think the US government is messed-up maybe you should move to a country with a better government.  I suggest Ukraine or Somalia.

We goat a call from this number today at 6:46 pm and didn't answer. The caller ID was WIRELESS CALLIN (sic). No voice mail message was left. We had added this number to our call blocker last year. Due to numerous other such calls from this area code, the entire area code is now blocked by our call blocker. The number may be spoofed. When I called back I heard this recording: "We're sorry. You call cannot be completed as dialed. Please check the number and dial again or call your operator to help you."

I got the "obama", "recession" and "welfare" questions, along with the nosy questions about myself to put me into all kind of little buckets.

caller ID says "Wireless Caller." It's a land line in Dallas, TX.

After looking at the messages on here it is apparent few people have a clue.  The DNCL does not work and hasn't or this type of harassment would stop.   This is some kind of telemarketer out of my area.   Instead of big list of directions on how to stop these calls which is useless; why not list who it is and any other derogatory information you can dig up on their scum sucking invasion of people's privacy.  Or..., get one of the good Call-Blocking devices and fight back since none of the major phone company's will help with a world-wide problem that might cause them a lose of a few dollars.

Received a call from 214-283-1316 today and caller id showed Wireless Callin.  No message was left.  When I get calls like this I search the number at www.reversegenie.com and most of the time there will be a pic of where the call was coming from.  I searched this number at www.reversegenie.com and I saved the pic, so when I file a complaint I can attach the pic.
