Same virus scam... The (non-English as a first language) call said "We are getting a lot of errors from your computer".  Ya right.  I gave him the blow horn treatment for about 30 seconds.  Then asked if we was still there.  He said "ya you son of a bee-och" and hung up.

Answered phone and got computer generated message saying it was Microsoft.  It had received computer generated message that there was problem with my computer and for me to press 1.

Received a call from 214-302-6762.  I didn't know who it was and I didn't answer.  Caller ID said it was Dallas TX.  I blocked the number.

I didn't get to the phone in time to answer the call.  The message was a creepy sounding, computer generated voice telling me that this was "an urgent microsoft message to let me know that my programming was dangerously in need of something that they had to do, and I should call them Immediately...click".

I Do not answer calls from unknown name,  and most other calls, No machine message to record to.  No luck for the
thieves.

Got a call from "Dave" from Microsoft. He told me my computer was corrupted and he could fix it. In my best old man voice I told him I owned an IBM 186 computer with a 5 1/4" floppy drive and 5 megabyte hard drive. Then he wanted to know my IP address and I told him I pee in my own toilet. He wanted to know about my Windows and I told him I have very nice curtains for my windows. He mumbled something then hung up.

I got this call last week . The say are from Microsoft and your computer is showing errors. They even showed me. I fell for it and it costs me $$. Microsoft NEVER calls you to tell you your computer has errors. Also advised these were hackers . BEWARE...!!!

Got this automated call and played along until person ecame vulger and very rude.

The usual. They detected that my Microsoft windows has a problem. Yeah. That's a real problem, being that I have a MAC computer.

i asked to speak to who was in charge, knowing it to be a scam.... and he called me an as*hole

I tried to dial the number to ask to be removed from his telemarketing list, but it's not even a real number.

These a**holes don't give up, do they! Blocked, ten they change their spoofed #, then I block, repeat, repeat, repeat......

I received a call from this number but did not answer. (I don't answer any calls from numbers unfamiar to me). The caller ID read only Dallas, TX. . There was no message and I was curious about the number so I googled it.  I am glad I didn't answer!  Thanks for the info about this number.

The info about answering the call and them being able to access some of your info if the pc is turned on is good to know.  I never answer these phone calls.  I let all my landline phone calls go to voice mail.  Return the ones that are important and delete the rest.
