I got the same call from the same number ..
I think it is a SCAm

Got a call from the same number. Said it was an unpaid loan from 2010. As bad as it sounds i knew they were full of it because i have been in prison from 2007 to 2011. When i informed them of this it completely threw them off.

I just got this call today and did what almost everyone else did that got this phone call. I freaked out thinking. It had to do with my daughters father that I have a restraining order on. I waited and waited onvhold and then said screw it I its that important they will fInd me

I got a call just like everyone else here and I've contacted Federal Trade commission who advised me to block the phone call. The FTC also advised me to call my Attorney General just to put it on record as far as my complain and made them aware of the phone calls I'm getting.

its a scam, they are scum, want soical #, going to send  subeona, told them go ahead

It's a recorded message that gives me an affidavit number and tells me to contact my attorney.  I deleted the message.

Got the same call and now they are harrassing me on my work phone.

I just got a phone call today at my work and my cell number. They left a voice recording message stating that I was going to get subpoenaed if my lawyer didn't call them in 24 to 48 hours. What a mess........so I called them back and I received a music on the phone telling me that someone will be right with me well they never came to the phone. WTHECK is going on?  They told me the same thing "terricat". I am calling the Better Business Bureau on tomorrow. How do you stop them from calling?

Same crap. Going to use several means to report them. Tried to call to no avail. Music to make the wait worse. These guys are really bad. I am seeing my lawyer to get them off the calling, etc.

my husband just got the same call and they also talk to him saying we were being sued for not paying any money back that was in our account and we never had any money put there from anyone but our checks from his work also they called his work and the funny thing is he did not work for that company last year just this year so i am not sure how there doing it but this has got to stop

you could try and call them back and get as much info as ya can cause this happened to us today and once in like sept of last year and it was a call from new york we call our michigan state police and he told us to tell them to f***k off cause we never had gotten a loan and they traced down the number and it was a house address in new york and then the cops there did nothing so our police told us to call back get more info and then turn it in to the fraud place and that is about all ya can do

Yup...you guessed it...Same thing here...A restraining order? Really?!?!?  We live in Massachusetts!! A restraining order in Texas...knock yourselves out!! So when I asked the company name that was owed money, I got the old "I cannot give you that information" deal. Ok , fine...then tell me this, Why is my husband receiving this call instead of a Certified Mail summons...isnt that how it normally goes?? When I informed this "agent " that I contacted the FCC... he hung up on me!!

Scammers calling Me ex wife, etc

Received a call about a possible charge against me in Washington DC - they called from somewhere in Plano TX - crazy trying to scare people into sending them money I guess - will report to the federal government

These people have called my home, cell, and work phone numbers.  I have no clue what they are up to but it has to be no good.  They claim they have a restraining order against me and I have to have my attorney call them in 24 to 48 hrs.  This is the second time they have pulled this stunt.  When you call the number all you get is an automated message and a bunch of music.  What creeps!

I received a call from this number today, went to my cell vmail.  When I listened to it, the voice was a recording not a person, saying they are the civil investigation unit, and I have affidavit number a07d-1970 against me.  Didn't say for what.  They said I should share this with an attorney and call them back.  I am somewhat concerned about calling.  As others said, I won't respond unless I see it in writing.  I can't imagine things like this would be handled via an automated voice recording.

Got the same call today - Same thing happened - when I ret'd call - no answer and some really annoying music!!  Will be calling the Attorney General office.
