It's almost amusing. I've read through all these complaints regarding this one number and none of them match what I was told by the caller. First, I just happened to be in a mood to engage with someone that I already knew was a scammer. Now that I've done so, I will block this number.

I was told by the caller that he was representing an organization that helped families of fallen police officers. I tried to interrupt, but he kept rambling on. I think I kind of got him when I told him loudly I was tired of the police shooting kids (believe me, I do respect the police, but this was just too much fun). He sort of paused and when he did I told him I knew he was a scammer and that he was a f***er. See? It CAN be fun talking to these people.

Said she was from Culligan (?) water in the area testing for bacteria in tap water - trying to sell water filters

Answered and immediately asked them to politely take me off their call list, the answer I got back was "uhh NOPE" then they hung up on me

Exact same thing! I got a call from restricted before.

We've been getting calls from this number for over two weeks. Like others, I don't normally answer calls from unknown numbers in cities where I have no family or business relationships.  Also like others, upon callback this number is not in service.

Sometimes a business will buy phone numbers in blocks of 100, in this case 214-932-1500 through 214-932-1599.  I *67 called the -1500 number and got a recording for a company called Time 2 Market.  Their website says that they "consult with customers"  among other things.  They claim to have offices in Denver, New York, Dallas, Boston, Austin, Cedar Rapids, Chicago, Minneapolis and Connecticut.

I guess these calls are consultations?

Asked for our IT Coordinator by name.  When I asked the caller his name and company, he hung up.

I have received this call many times. I live in Texas these calls are a pain in the tail. This man knows my name but I have no idea how. I no longer answer these calls.

Said it wasn't a sales call. Asked me 2 questions. Couldn't hear first and second was to verify I made at least $200,000/year. Yeah. Right. And when I said no, THEY hung up.

I didn't answer but when I called it back, I was told that number was out of service as well.

Got a call from this number from Texas on my home line and not business line.  Said they were working on getting me Visa credits on my merchant processor account.  Didn't even know I have 2 of them.  Wanted me to fax my statements to them so they could start working on my credits.  Said my credit card processor was charging me 9% instead of 2%.   I didn't fax them anything, but they called back in an hour from 608-123-7654 - Name Not Found.  Also said they were from a company called Main St.  Won't answer the phone again.

Two phone calls during the morning an Monday, 1/5/2015, with an interval of two hours.  Both automated.  First in female voice "This is Nicole," second in a male voice.

i just got a call from 2149321519 at 5:51 PM. it said it was from Texas and that seemed random to me. i answered the cal even though i knew i shouldn't answer it because i don't have the number stored and theres no reason someone would call me from TX.  i said hello but i heard no response. how annoying. lots of comments are here about this number. must be some random stupid [***] company.

Said was selling home security stuff. Caller ID said "Texas"

I've decided to just not answer home phone anymore...may even give up the landline altogether since 99% of the calls we receive are from telemarketers, scam artists and the like. Why am I paying for the phone when I don't even use it like I ised to in 'the good old days' when the phone rang, it was always someone you knew. Sheesh.

Live call from India, Go Green Solar Panels to qualify me for free solar panels to reduce my electricity cost by "tirty" per cent every month. They last called me in December 14th 2013 but I couldn't record that call.

They completely ignore the Do Not Call regulations. Certainly tells us something about their business ethic, doesn't it?

[they] Hello, can I speak with the homeowners.

[me] Speaking.
[they] Yes sir, this is Paul speaking from Solar Expert, how are you?

[me] Just fine thanks.
[they] That's great sir, the reason for my call is dat we are running a solar program in your area in which we are qualifying homeowners who are facing high electricity bill so we can give them solar panel without paying single cent out of their pocket and lower their electricity bill up to tirty percent every month so sir, I believe you are the home owner of the single family residential house, right?

[me] Uh, this is an apartment building.
[they] Oh, so you are not qualified for zero dollar solar program, you have a great day. God bless you.

[me] Oh darn.

This is from today ALONE.  They always hang up.  Virtually every call on my landline is now from scammers and spammers.  I wish I could make sure they are unable to ever call anyone again.  I really would like to meet them.  So would my three German Shepherds.

Received call at 9:45am today; woman with loud voice talking to another said "No, it's the funeral home" and hung up. Called the number back, got a recording stating this number was not in service. Not only are they annoying, they're cruel, especially when some of us have elderly parents.
