I'm in Oregon, got the call last night around 7:45.  Talked to my daughter later that night, she got the call, too.  Asked my other daughter's bf about it this morning, he's got a call from that number, too.  We're all on a family plan, not sure about the other phones on this plan.  Talked to a friend of mine about it, she had that a few days ago on a land line.  Crazy.  I vote for the terrorist theory if only to give the feds something to do.

Both my husband and I got the same call. I picked up because I did not look at caller id. Spanish speaking lady, sounded like a recording. i hung up immediately. My husband did not pick up. He said it was from Philadelphia.

I've been recieving calls too. My wife thinks I'm cheating.

Could this be Aliens form Uranus trying to reach us? Are we supposed to make a really big gathering next to a flat top mountain with Ricahrd Dryfuss as host?

I get a lot of weird phone calls since some woman gives out my number as her own (her kid's school calls me to come pick him up when he's sick) but, for some reason I decided to look into this one.  I missed the call but wanted to find out where it was from.  Amazing how many people got this call!

I have received several calls over the last month and one half. I am suspicious that this might be a terrorist network using the number to contact people with a coded message. Has anyone contacted Homeland Security about this yet? Do you think I should?

I am not kidding folks, this could be something serious; who knows these days.

Rec'd call at 10:20 a.m. CST in Arlington Heights, IL. Caller ID indicated "Newton Pucks PA". Let call go to voice mail. "Caller" didn't leave message.

I also got the same call today. A lady in Spanish and a lot of static. I have been receiving these kind of anonymous calls for sometime now. It is very annoying.

Received the same b.s. recorded call on 3/12/09 at 2 pm.  In Illinois.

Endless calls from this phone number for months.  All Spanish.  Sometimes just loud static.

Called speaking a unknow language, no live person just a recording

I am sitting here waiting for calls for interviews for 200 jobs I applied for and I get this call.  Makes me angry!!! Its a cell number that they are calling that is on the do not call list.

Called, I missed the call, called back "not in service" message. An hour after this call, I received another call from 563-3598063, called back says disconnected.

just received call from this #...didn't answer...glad i didn't.

Just got a call from this #, I live in Canada and i'm on the Telus network. I got a message that said "This call is for Telus customers, please press 1 now to connect" in a recorded voice that sounded similar to Microsoft Sam. I pressed 1 and it rang and rang, no one, no machine picked up. I suspect that its a telemarketing company calling to see what time you will pick up your phone at and will sell that info to other companies.

Got a call from 215-944-8989 but didn't answer.  I didn't recognize the # so I googled it.  Thanks for the info!

Just got a call from 215-944-8989.  I'm on the Telus network as well. Answered and got a recording that began "Hallo.... You have just won a..." and I hung up.   Been getting more of theses types of calls lately on my cell.   It seems that some US telemarketing scammers have gotten hold of the Canadian Cell registry or something.   Sucks.

I also just got a call from this number. Same as others. A recorded lady speaking spanish for a short moment and then silence. I have to wonder what this person / company gets out of the call? If it was in English I might have a better idea. Has anyone on here been able to translate the message. I only ask in case this is a phone scam that should be reported to the state attorney general's office.
