Keep receiving their calls several times a day even at night. Glad I never answered any of them...It's annoying.. Thanks for this web site...

I got a call saying that I'd recently made a Visa purchase, that everything was fine with my order, and that I'd won a $125 gas card...I promptly told them to lose my number and hung up. There's been too many scams like this for anyone to fall for this type of thing anymore.

27 calls in three weeks...unwanted...did not answer...Googled the number and came upon pages upon pages of people who received unwanted calls as well as solicitations from a company called Vista. Offered free gas card if they could have the address of the recipient.

I missed 2 calls from this number and called back and like everyone else got an automated message about my order.  I too was very suspicious so I came here and saw about the $120 in gas cards.  So I made sure my phone ringer was turned up all of the way and was ready for them.  Sure enough they called a 3rd time within about an hour and I was ready for them.  First he said it was from a mastercard purchase I made.  I told him I didn't have a mastercard.  Then he said well maybe it was from my debit card and he rattled off my last 4 digits of my card number which kind of freaked me out.  Then he asked if I was over 18 and I told him no.  That didn't seem to deter him any.  So then when he said he was sending my $120 in gas cards I told him I don't have a car.  He said well give them to a family member and I said we are amish we ride in buggies.  So he persisted I give these gas cards to a family member and I said my whole family is amish we all ride in horse drawn buggies.  This also didn't stop him and he said, "well what about a lawn mower."  At this point I started laughing and I said we don't use gas mowers because we are amish and are against gas.  Heck I don't even know how the amish mow their yards but he finally got the hint and chuckled abit and I was able to get him off the phone.

Called to verify my city and state stating that I had used one of their 3rd party vendors, with my credit card ending with XXXX. This was a credit card that had just been canceled for unauthorized transactions. They wanted ME to give THEM my whole credit card number to be mailed $120 in gas rebates.

Landline and now they have that one @&$!

I got two calls from this number and when I answered a man said that he was calling because I had just made a recent purchase with my VISA card and said he was going to give me $120 in gas cards but I had to pay $2.95 shipping & handling to get them.  I said 'I DO NOT WANT THEM, DO NOT CHARGE MY CARD!'  (I didn't know if he knew my card # on not, but I didn't want to take any chances.)  So he says 'Excuse me'?  I repeated myself and he said that it didn't make any sense that someone is willing to give me such a good deal...blah, blah, blah and I just kept saying 'I don't want them, do not charge my card'.  Finally he hung up on me.

I think next time I see a strange number I'm going to answer the phone saying 'Hello, you're on a recorded line" and see what happens...LOL.

How do they know your name?  I finally picked up after 3 days of ignoring the calls - and they asked for me by name.... very odd.

Continuously receive calls from this number, 231-337-2147, after I received a call about a company wanting to send me free gas cards. They call 6 times a day and never leave a message and have called as late as 11 pm. I ended up having to call my cell company to have them blocked.

Keep getting calls about credit card purchases verification by a recorded voice, and I hang up immediately. Hopefully someone reports this phone number as a fraud, an scam.

The calls from "ConfirmSales 231-337-2147 (per caller ID) started Tuesday, July 19, 2011. This whatever "ConfirmSales" is, has called 3 to 4 times daily. Since I don't answer phone solicitors calls, I didn't find out who, or what, "ConfirmSales" is. What I do know is as of Weds. morning "ConfirmSales" calls, my answering machine answers. The message that is left on my answering machine is that sound of when the phone hasn't been put back on the hook...you know that rapid annoying sound...followed by "if you would like make a call please hang up and try again". Well, this illustrious outfit has done this 4 different times. Despite blocking that number this morning "ConfirmSales" called 2X today; one of the last four digits was different. And legit phone solicitors wonder why everyone hates them?

I hate these people, dont they get it, no means no means no. Stop calling me!
