How do you get rid of it?

This number began calling me about a month after I ordered something  online from a TV offer.  I believe the company I ordered from sold my information to these people.  They have enough information about you to make you think you've done business with them before.  The woman offered me a $100 gas card.  I said, "No thank you, and please remove me from your calling list."  She said she would, and I have not had another call from them.

I called the company I originally ordered from and told the customer service woman that I believed they sold my information to telemarketers.  She said I should have checked the "do not share my information" box.  Obviously I can't prove that I did check it (although I always do).  I told her I was going to report the number to the government Do Not Call list, because I believe they are getting information dishonestly.

They call and call and call. Offering the $100 gas card. They had the last four digits of my husband's debit card and wanted more information, but he hung up on them. Put them on my call screening so they can't get through anymore. Idiots.

Got a call last night and no one left a message. They called again today, I answered and some guy said he was with the shipping departmen. I told him that I had not ordered anything and I don't want to be contacted and take my name off the list. His response was "whatever" then he hung up.

They called multiple times today.  I answered, the standard message about free gas cards, for $2.99 shipping & a $29.99/month few for a buying club.  They gave me the last four numbers of a "Visa" card.  I don't have those numbers.... they said well maybe it's a MasterCard or Amex and would I confirm my credit card numbers with them.  I refused, saying I don't give out that information over the phone & I would report them for unethical practices.  They said I couldn't report them since they are a business.  I told them I can report anyone I please & they are being reported.  A few more choice words & I hung up....

They called. I very quickly saw they were a scam. Told them I was not interested, and they called back an hour later. Annoyed about the callback as well as the fact I'm on the DNC registry.

231-337-2147 (caller id read "ConfirmSales") woke me up out of a sound sleep this morning so I was actually falling for the free gas coupons.
she said I had recently made a purchase with my credit card, she spouted off the last 4 digits of my card, she knew my name and address.  I was then transferred to another lady to confirm everything and she said I could try the coupon book for a trial month and then my card would be charged (missed the amount) after the 30 day trial period.  That's when I freaked out!  And said, "never mind.  I don't want to do this.  I don't like my card being charged and I have to remember to cancel a program"   She became EXTREMELY rude trying to explain the program to me.  I asked for the 1-800 number again (that she had rattled off earlier in the convo.) because I wanted to insure that I had a contact number.  She did NOT want to give it to me saying that if I wasn't in the program then the number wouldn't help me.  She ended by sarcastically telling me "you have been a pleasure to talk to".  I immediately got on the computer to see what this is about.  I'm still shaking.

I called this number and spoke to a very nice lady.  (I gave NO information) She explained the program to me.  My card was given by a marketing partner that I had either ordered from off the Internet, magazine, infomercial or something like that.  It does actually sound like a legit company, however it still makes me nervous.

Keeps calling, when answered, they hang up or the computer hangs up.  When not answered, they leave a message and states that this call is just an order shipment confirmation to call back. When one calls back they want your phone number.

Getting 2 to 3 calls each day, really random times. If I answer they hang up, they left one message once. REALLY annoying when they called me at 4 am.

I received 4 calls on July 28, 2011.  No message on answering maching, called Id only as McBain, MI.  The only way to get rid of these companies is to file a complaint with Do Not Call.   Everyone must file a complaint that gets these invasion of privacy calls.  This is the second one I have filed today.  I will continue to file a complaint every day that this type of call is received.  FCC take notice.  Go after these people and prosecute them.

The company is actually Vista Marketing in New Port Richey, Florida.  They route their calls through providers in other states and use a number of slightly different names to help hide their identity.

I got a second call from this scam group but hung up once they started talking. I knew they were frauds.

I ran a check on the phone number 231-337-2147 and it comes back to Confirmsales in McBain. MI. I found one of many websites such as www.confirmsales.com which has a bunch of misspellings claiming to "upsell" online buyers and even prevent online fraud. I will check with Mcbain Police and see if they have ever heard of the firm. Wrong so many ways!

Been receiving TONS of calls from this number - caller ID says CONFIRMSALES, usually we just let it ring until the maching picks up, then they never leave a message.  Decided I had had enough, I answered the phone.  

The lady on the other end said that she was calling to confirm a shippment, and that I was chosen as a VIP or preferred member for using my VISA card.  Said they were going to ship out a $120 gasoline rebate card and all I had to do was pay $2.95 shipping cost and would be entered into some kind of rewards program for "stores I already shop at".  Supposedly there was a 30 day free trial, and if I didn't call to cancel the membership then I would be billed $29.95 per month (or year, can't remember).  Told her I didn't want to sign up, and as all phone solicitors do, they repeated the offer and told me how nice it was to have 120 in free gas and then proceded to assume I wanted to sign up.  I said no 2 or 3 more times before I just said no thanks and said good bye.  
We'll see if they stop calling... I reported them on the Do Not Call website.  You all should do the same.

Just got the call from this number..."vista services" ...came up on caller ID as "confirmsales"...I'd won $120 in gas rebates...lucky me!  They needed a "verifier" to come on and record my okay for $2.95 s/h...I hung up while "waiting"...

Received 5 calls from this number today..Unable to answer the first 4..When I tried to call the number back..got recording stating it was the shipping department about a order i placed..no company name..had 3 options to choose from..leave message..receive no more calls about current order..receive no calls about any future orders...when they called the 5th time it just so happen to come up as unavailable (how nice)..dont know name of person I talked to but sounded little drunk.wanted to send me $120 gas card.  Could not tell me the name of the company I supposedly ordered from but his company was Vista services..did not give him much more of a chance to talk..told him he was full of stuff and not to call me again or I would report them...scary part is they had my name & address...could some one please tell me how they get this stuff and how do we stop it

Please have this company stop calling.  They seem to be trying to get info and claim to want to give away free gas card but when I asked for their name they hung up.

Called this number back, reached recording:  "Hello, you have reached the Order Confirmation department.  We are trying to reach you to confirm your recent order.  If we are unable to reach you, it will not affect shipment of your order.  This is just a courtesy call."  Recently ordered "Plaque Attack".
