Yesterday I started receiving calls from this number. I had recently made a purchase online of the "Swivel Store spice rack" (big mistake, but that's another story). I don't answer calls from numbers I don't recognize so I looked up the number and found this and other websites stating that it was a scam. Today they called me THREE times before I woke up, and I was ready for them the next time they called. They knew my name, knew the town I lived in, and were trying to send me a gas card or whatever like everyone else. I told them I had read that it was a scam and I wasn't interested, and "put me down as a no".  I'm sure they'll call again though.

I keep getting these damn calls on my cell phone like 100 times a day...no joke!!!  I am getting really pissed off...how do I stop them from calling?

Many calls from this number with no message left.  Caller ID says "confirm sales".  Picked up accidentally tonight, fast talking young woman who said she was calling from Vista claimed I had made a recent purchase with my credit card and thus was entitled to gas discount cards.  I asked what I had purchased and was told it was from one of their "affiliates".  Again I interrupted her to ask what affiliate and what had I purchased and she claimed to protect my privacy she couldn't tell me.  I firmly told her to take my number off their list and to no longer call me.  She said not a problem and have a nice day.  If they never call again, it will be a nice day.  How is this happening when one is on the do not call registry?  I have three numbers I'm getting annoying calls from lately with no messages left and some of the calls are quite late in the evening.  How do we get this stopped?

These clowns called my number 7 times over the last two days, beginning on August 3, 2011.

Try calling the phone company and see if you can block this number.  At least I called the phone company, which is also the cable company.  I put a block on it before 12PM, PDT.  I don't know when that will take effect.

Wow!!  You mentioned the "Swivel Store spice rack".  Now I wonder if these people, Confirm Sales, which showed up on the Caller ID, are the same people who are associated with "Perfect Meat Loaf".  Does that ring a bell?

And like you, they were trying to send me a gas card when I used my Visa debit card to purchases the newfangled meatloaf pan.

they just called this morning but I diddn't answer. I checked online fist to find out who called.

report them to the national do no call list.  www.donotcall.gov.  I did!

Received several calls from 231-337-2147. No message was left. I returned the call. The recorded voice instructed me to press 1 to leave a message. I was then instructed to enter a phone number in which I would like to have my call returned to. Hmm, lets see shall I leave them the local non emergency police number?

gas card scam/ trying to get u to sign up for plan. just put block on it. we investigated them. could be identify theft ring.....

I get about 10 calls a day for this number.  I never answer it.  I just called the number back after reading the comments above and it is for RPM which is a collection agency.
