- JulieI get several phone calls a day from this number. I don't answer and so they will call back every few minutes. Sure wish they would fall into a hole somewhere and never get back out.
- MizDizzyMizzyGot a call from this number, did not answer it since I did not recognize the number. Voicemail said there was a message. When I replayed the message it was 2-3 seconds of an Indian/Asian sounding female, but I could not make out what was said, so another one for the block list.
- Caller: No clue
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MizDizzyMizzy replies to AnonymI have Verizon, too and the 5 blocked number limit really ticks me is a since the reason I am bombarded with these calls is my myverizon account was hacked twice in less than 8 months, so being on the Do Not Call Registry and being super careful of who I gave my number to was useless. They got my email & physical address, too so I get all kinds of spam & junk mail in addition to the calls.
The assigining no ring tone to these contacts is a good idea. Another way to get around the limit is if you do get a new phone, check out any of the Samsung Galaxy phones. I had a Galaxy S4 & a Galaxy Note 2, both of which have an Auto Reject function that is phone based & is independent of Verizon's system it worked great. I built a couple of contacts, assigned them to the Auto Reject List and never got a call from any of the numbers I put on the list after.
My problem is my Galaxy Note died, so I upgraded to the shiny new LG G4. I researched its functions & saw it had the same capability. Got the phone, followed LGs instructions to use the blocking function, only to find it didn't work. Contacted both LG & Verizon who both told me Verizon disabled that (an other) features, but neither could give a reason. I'm using your no ring solution, but if the calls don't ease up soon, will be looking for a new cellular provider.
Good luck to you! - AnonymAnswered and said, I [***] your mother in the rear with my 12 inch [***]!
- Caller: SCUMBAGS
- Mr. Anonymous"Michael from the Technical Department of Windows" heavy Indian accent, told him I was going to India and shove a cow up his azz. Scam, reported it to FTC
- Patricia475Man with accent wanted to "fix" my computer that he claimed has a virus. Almost laughed. From reading the posts it seems like we are becoming more educated to these scams. Good for us. I still hate the intrusion, lies and waste of time. Added his number to the call blocker I bought off Amazon. I use Avast! security as a friend said it was better than McAfee. Be sure to delete the old security system on your computer before adding a new one. I learned the hard way and corrupted some files by downloading new security before removing old one. Also getting tons of calls from "ALARM" scammers.

- CinnamonRed1They call my house several times a week and the number is always different. Same scam. An Middle Eastern accent says he is with Microsoft and needs to remotely access your PC. He is trying to wire money and gain access to your credit cards. Don't be fooled! Microsoft WILL NEVER CALL YOU. I am to the point where I don't pick up the phone if I do not recognize the number. ...and sometimes I do and play with his head. lol

- dumb foundedMan with THICK Indian accent says he's calling about Windows on my computer. I asked him how he got my name and phone number. His reply is that it was filled out on the form when I bought my computer. I then informed him that I do not own a computer (I really don't, only use one at work -- which is where I'm at now!). He then proceeded to ask me if I was an idiot or just dumb...twice. He got the royal GFY treatment.
- joID reads Cell Phone, call and never leave a message

- northwestkathleenI didn't answer but caller id said it was from ohio............had several calls and only answered once and it said there was a problem with my Microsoft Windows computer program.............I don't have Windows.Obviously a scam
- ScarlettI have had a number of calls not only with this number, but others, and the pitch is the same. Since most have been on my cell phone, I decline the call. I did get calls on my home phone also and the caller claims he is supporting Windows and needs to fix the Windows application on my computer. The first time we got the call he installed something on my home computer and locked me out of it by placing a password. Fortunately we were considering buying a new computer, so we destroyed the old computer hard drive and selected new passwords, home page, etc. These people are evil!
