Called at 6:14 P.M. February 27. Recording about government money for lower house payments.

Received this call.  I did not answer the call and they did not leave a message

This obviously SPOOFED number (239-243-9337) just called my cell.  I answered with hello and the morons hung up .... which is fine because I'm not putting up with their bs.  Sometimes I answer just so I can mess with them because I hate scammers .

Call came in as being from Sao Tome & Principe.

Unknown-Unwanted-Area code was already blocked. Don't care who it is or isn't. It's just another scammer so who cares.

They hung up when answering machine came on.

No, the DNC registry isn't a joke. But it only applies to telemarketers and only legitimate ones follow it anyway. Scammers simply ignore it. That's why a call blocker is a good investment.

Unknown number, caller id FT MYERS FL on Verizon, 4:19 pm EDT. Tail end of robo-message in female voice says "... qualify for government aid ..."

This number 239-243-9337 called. I D as Fort Myers. Have friends there but didn't recognize the number.WE don't pick up unless we know who is calling. Get at least 4 calls a day just like this. Calls have increased since Trump got into office...guess lying & scams have his approval.
