Recieved a call that Microsoft reported my computer as not being updated etc., I played along with the lie and suddenly told him I was a tech. Teacher. Then I asked him, "do you feel like a fool yet"

Caller said he was from Microsoft Windows and something is wrong with my computer.  I told him to remove my number from his calling list as this was at least the 10th time I requested it.  Problem is I get so many of these calls and it is not always the same number and sometimes the call just comes up as "out of area".  There is no way to block those calls.

I asked the caller why my Apple computer would self dial Windows and give them a phone number it doesn't have?
They hung up.

Kountry34 how did u do all of this to stop them from getting your information i've been getting calls from the same number & they wont stop calling me

I have been getting 2 calls a day from this number 247-851-4245, everyday twice a day at the same times. If I don't recognize the number I do not answer but I did by mistake. The guy said he was with Microsoft & needed to fix my computer. I just hung up & continue to get these calls. I just don't answer them. I have blocked my cell phone because now they are calling on that too!

I get these from time to time and like to have fun with the idiots on the other end, I tell them I am a computer instructor and have 30 system and for them to tell me which one is running bad.....they hang up, sometimes I tell them they have read the local police call center and by the time I get police out they hang up, sometimes I tell them I and retired Federal employee and for them to please provide me with more details on their service......I have a Korean TV system and put the phone next to the TV on a Korean News show and wait for 5-10 mins, they never hang around long....

Just a followup to my comments above....got this from the FCC in regards to filing a complaint with them on calls like this, just in case you think you may want to complain....

They called again, call blocker did its thing--heard the phone chirp once, then...nothing. Haha! No scam for them.

these morons called my home at 7 am in the morning.when I answered there was a pause and they hung up  !!!!!!!!!  I called the number back and it would not go thru !!  I have them blocked now and reported them to the state police.....

This number has been call me about every day. They never leave a message & do not say anything when i pick up the phone so i hang up. If the phone rings 4 times, my answering machine picks up & the hand held phone will flash until i listen & delete the message. This runs down my phone battery if it's not on the charger/answering machine. Today, 501-566-1234 called so i picked up & immediately, then the phone rang again almost immediately- unknown name unknown number, then it rang immediately again 247-851-4245. Again i picked up & hung up. If you wish to talk me, you better have a name & phone number & even then i may not talk depending who it is. Also reported it to donotcall.Gov for what it  is worth

I made a complaint, the RCMP laughed at me. told me to block the call. they called back on a slitly different number

when I told the guy not to call again, he,s like I LOVE YOU!!!! efing omg

We received a phone call at 12:07 am. We have family traveling in the U.S. and were afraid maybe they were in an accident. Didn't recognize the area code so we Googled it. Thank you all for reporting the number, we at least know our family is ok without calling them in the wee hours!!! Now if we can only get some sleep!

Got a call last night at 11:00 pm from phone number 247-851-4245.  Looked up area code 247 and it says not a valid area code.  How do we stop these calls from coming in?

the first call I got from this number I just hung up. I just got a new Panasonic phone set with 3 receivers at Costco for $35.00. It has call blocking for 50 numbers. I just got called again now its blocked.

These losers have called a few times...tonight they hung up on me when I asked him if he had any idea what time it was here.  It was 1130 at night and he woke up my toddler.  I hope they never call again!
