They called at 10:51PM on a Sunday night, did not answer in time and then googled the number since i know one in Mi.

Called three times in less than an hour. Left no message on voicemail.

Called at 7 pm on 2/5. Did call back since I have people I know in Michigan. They proceeded to tell me I had an account with them that I do not have and kept asking for me to verify information. When I asked the name of the company the man mumbled through the name of the company so I couldn't understand where he worked. He had a very thick Indian accent as well so that explains the call during off hours (no explanation for calling on a Sunday night though). He kept telling me he needed to verify my information since he wasn't able to find who had called me. Told him I was not verifying anything since I couldn't understand him when he was saying the name of his company and that I was reporting his number.

Just got the same thing. call I did not answer.... look like a new scam number!

Received calls from American Credit Management 3 different times within 3 hours.
First call blocked after first call.
I have no idea who they are or why they're calling.
I'm 74 years of age, retired 14 years, no mortgage, no car notes, no credit card debt, no medical debt, no business or personal loan, virtually NO nothing except for food and monthly utility bills, with an annual retirement income of $243,000 (more than double what this company earns annually with 3 employees).

I did a Google search on ACM, and very little information came up.

I find highly unusual that a collection agency WOULD NOT have a website.
I haven't received not 1 letter in the mail saying who the creditor is or how much I (supposedly) owe.
There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on any of my 3 credit reports showing delinquent accounts from any creditor past or current.
There is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING on any of my 3 credit reports showing American Credit Management as an "inquiry" or creditor.
This collection agency has been in business since 1996 (21 years) and ONLY generates $120,000 in annual revenue.  What a farce and  joke!
$120,000/365 days = $328.76 per day in revenue; and out of that income, you have to pay payroll taxes,insurance and other related overhead costs, which leaves approximately $75 per day per employee (if that much).  What a farce and joke!

Debt collector

Have received numerous calls from this number over the last several weeks.  Didn't answer any of them since I don't know anyone in MI, and they don't leave a message.  Googled the number, then found this site where numerous people report they're receiving calls also.  I now just pick up and immediately hang up, so I don't have to listen to the phone ringing all the time.

If this is another Midland Credit number, they are really starting to p### me off.
As far as I'm concerned, this is harassment.   Constantly calling from many different phone numbers.  I've already talked to them once, and told them to stop, blocked numbers, but then they constantly come up with a new number to call from.   So over this!!  😠

Credit one bank is a real bank for credit cards, but definitely had to be a scam because of asking for your SS#

American Credit Management is a ONE PERSON debt collection company.
ACM first started calling me on Wednesday, March 1st, 2017 at 8:03 am.
All calls after the first call have been blocked/disconnected/hang-up.
As of today March 8th, I have received on average 2-3 calls per day (excluding weekends).
I have a good idea why debt collection companies call, but I have no idea why ACM is calling me because I'm absolutely 110% debt free i.e. no credit card debt, no mortgage loan, no auto loan(s), no business or personal loan etc..
Me and my wife are both 72 and retired 11 years ago with excellent credit over 800+.
We both last checked all 3 of our credit reports from Equifax, Experian and Transunion on March 1st.  No delinquent or overdue accounts.
We have received NO letter(s) in the mail for payment from ACM.
What ever supposed debt I owe will be argued in a court of law, otherwise ACM can go pound sand in Siberia.

Sleazy debt buying company - Midland Credit Management

They purchase old debts from other companies or collection agencies that are frequently no longer collectible and try to force you to pay.

They've been calling me incessantly for the last 3 weeks from many different numbers.

I don't answer, but i called them back and got an Indian sounding man stating he's an account manager with Midland Credit Management.

Do not answer these calls.
