I work for a mental health facility, and this call came to my field cell phone.  I called to request they remove the phone number from their logs, as it is clearly a mistake.  The guy on the phone clearly was not understanding (in fairness English was clearly not his first language), and kept asking questions that obviously are related to his scam, rather than removing the number.  Hung up on him after reiterating "remove that number from your call log, thank you, bye."

Annoying calls...you pick up and get nothing just noise...

I received two calls over two days.  I didn’t answer either call.  No message was left.  Based on the previous posts on this forum, I’m blocking this #.

Asking for unknown name. Sounds hispanic. Said, no one on phone so I am releasing the call.

This number calls up to six times a day. Never leaves a messages or answers when I pick up.

Called my landline today, but did not leave a message.

Just another Midland Credit Management number calling likely to try and scam me over unpaid debt, which I have none of except a loan which is perfect standing.

Beware is a Scam!!! They call from several number with Indian accent.

This is a very slimy debt collection company with different names and phone numbers that has been harassing me with daily phone calls on my cell phone that originate from overseas but are routed from different USA area codes. Problem is they have the wrong number as I have absolutely zero debt. Does no good to block these creeps because they keep calling back under different numbers. They don't leave a message and in my case never sent me a letter because they don't even know who I am or where I live, just a phone number they keep calling.  If you get in their cross hairs there is plenty of good information on this thread, including links on how and where to go to fight back. In my case I filed a complaint online with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, a federal agency. Meanwhile, the calls continued so finally I picked up the call and like my moniker, "Fed up", I said in a creepy fake voice: "Your mother xxxxx my xxxx." I mean, by then I had really had it with these people. After a pause I then heard a female voice with an Indian accent say "Hello?" I replied "Who's calling?" She asked if this was (some French sounding name like Gilland something or other). I said that's not me, she has a wrong number and I have filed a complaint with the CFPB and there is no way I will back down. She said she was sorry and she will remove my number from their list. She was actually nice about it but Sheesh, if they would have just given me the simple courtesy of a message I would have called them back politely. Now waiting to see if the calls stop. I have a whole package of information on how to fight back including a list of potential pro bono lawyers, some of them nearby, all obtained on this site. If more people would fight back we wouldn't have so much of this kind of abuse.

looked up the number: says Midland Credit Managemt, I don't have any credit debt, or need or have requested credit info, i did however, look at my score on karma a week or two ago. if karma is sharing my info, they got some splaining to do

Didn't know the number, didn't answer.  They left no message,  Suspect spam.
