By the way, in response to HANK above, the other family members and/or fellow thieves of this person must be continuing to make these calls through this number :) - Bea RockwellPlease close this company down

- Bob replies to Dana| 3 repliesCalls three times from this number in 24 hours. First 2 did not connect when I answered. The third time, I got a male with "Indian" accent claiming to be from Microsoft. He tried to tell me that I had an issue with my computer. Then I said that I was not aware of the "Security Breech" and I asked him if he could fix it. Then he said, "No Problem", but since my computer security was in danger, he could accept payment with a credit card or debit card over the phone, then I said that I was not at home now because I was out driving to the store, and if he could call back friday when I would be home so we could "Resolve" the problem, and he said that was no problem. So far, I have received the 2 calls again, waiting for the third.
This Number 253-243-1143 is from the Kent, Tacoma Washington Area, United States - didn't scam meSaid he was from Windows. I asked if he was a Microsoft employee, and he said yes. Bull. When I asked who exactly he was calling for, he hung up.
- DebI also got a call from this number, a foreign women claimed to be with Microsoft Windows and said my computer had been sending them error messages, and that everytime I got online I am downloading harmful programs, I told her I thought she was full of of s#$% and hung up. Right before they called me a 757-512-5931 called me asking for someone I didn't know, probably testing to see if you were answering or home. Right after I got a call from 808-592-4202 which I did not answer. So they are working in teams now!

- FayeI've been getting these calls also and they have many other numbers, I have 13 unknowns and 12 different numbers for July and already 6 calls this month, I'm going to try and do something about it, it is plain and simple harassment. They say they are from the government, from windows and from the educational grant system. I have a siren that I set off in their ears since I asked them to stop calling, everyone should get something to set off in their ears like one of those fog horns. And yes they are Indian a male and a female
- KellyI've been getting calls from this number for about 2 months, and each time they say they are from Microsoft and they are receiving messages from my computer stating that it has a virus and that they could help me fix it. The first time I said "That's impossible because I don't own a computer with Microsoft." (Which is true) He quickly asked if I had a Mac and I replied that I did not. (Also, true) I asked to be removed from the list and he just hung up. The second call I just let him talk to see what all was involved with them fixing the issue, and he went through a list of "click here, do this" nonsense. I finally told him I don't have a computer with Microsoft, I don't own a Mac, I don't own any computers (I have a Google Chromebook). He then asked if I had a Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and I said no (again, not true, but irrelevant to his purpose). He obviously didn't believe me and asked me again and I said "I don't have use for any of that". Then he asked if he could have my number, to which I replied "For what?" He said "To call and talk". I quickly shot him down and explained that he has no reason to ever call me and to remove my number. He hung up. Seriously, this went from a Microsoft call to a pick up call.

- StanGuy with an India accent called and said I had programs running on my computer that were becoming a security risk to my computer. I said "Wow. How does that happen? I don't own a computer." He went silent and then he hung up.
- Jayvee| 2 repliesI don't know if this is from the same # (I don't have caller ID), but the same foreign-accented male just called me and said he was calling from Windows about my computer. I told him I don't have a computer. He then asked me if I was Jayvee (using my full real name). I said no. He asked "Who is this?" I was tired of playing and hung up. The problem I see here is that these scammers have names as well as phone numbers. I'd be interested in hearing from any others who played along for more time than I did.
- JodyReceived call last Friday and again today on my cell phone. Called back the number from my work landline (I work in an office that has crappy cell service and our outgoing calls are 'restricted' on caller ID's)...no answer. Looked the number up on Google and many have been scammed so adding my name to list of those wanting it shut down.
- EllyCalled me today but i saw that it was from WA and didn't answer. From reading these posts, it's a scam anyway.
- RheaThis is a scam. This is about the 15th call I have gotten, but the first from this number. They are Indian, mostly men but this number was a female, stating that they are with Windows. They claim my computer is sending error messages linked to a porn ring in Mexico. I immediately knew it was a scam, but I went along to get as much info as I could. After saying that I knew it was a scam, they said they were going to report me to the FBI for being involved with the porn ring. We argued back in forth, me telling them it was a scam and to get a real job, and then the guy started saying vulgar words which I then hung up. Don't fall for it!!
- Caller: Microsoft
- Hate RobocallsSame number that called a bit over a month ago (I've been keeping track). No answer this time. They have also called our home phone with an aggressive person with a strong Indian accent claiming that our computers were 'infected'. So frustrating that these thieves just continue to operate..........
