Thanks for posting.  I screen all calls.  Anything out of my area code, I check here. Then block if the number is posted..

Male with Indian accent called me up and told me they were receiving error messages from my windows computer. I played along until he told me to hit the windows key on my keyboard. I told him I couldn't. He asked me why and I said "I have a mac. There is no windows key". He told me "I thought you said you had a windows computer." I said "nope!" and he hung up.

I should have played along a bit longer! I'm curious what they are trying to get out of it.

Guy with Indian accent claiming to work for Microsoft. Started asking a few questions and he became very angry. He cussed me out, told me he'll call me every day until he dies when i asked him to never call me again. Also told me he fu*ked my mother. That [***] is lucky he was hiding behind a phone. I dare him to offer me a tech support house call.

Same scenario.  Urgency in an Eastern Indian man's voice regarding the licensing to my computer being left wide open.  Then he wanted me to take down a licensing number to see that he was telling the truth and that it was my computer.  I asked him what my name is.  He yelled and said, "That's why I gave you that number!  So you would know I am telling you the truth!". I asked what his name was and he said "I am an IT guy from Smart Support.". He said to give the numbers to my IT guy if I didn't trust him.  I said, "I am an IT guy!". Of course I started to laugh because I am a female.  Then he said, "You are?  Good!  Then you know how to look for the event viewer.". I said yes.  Then he said, "OK, how do you look at the event viewer?". I said, "OK, what's my name?". He said I have your computer information that's why I gave you that number!". I asked what his name was.  He said "David." So I said, "David, can I get a call back number?  I have to go to the bathroom." He gave me the number that showed up on my phone and I asked him if I could call him back.  He said yes.  I asked for his last name.  He said Parker.  I said "David Parker?  Not Richard Parker?" I started laughing and he hung up.

Same as one before on the list, Guy asked for the license number from my computer.
Told him I didn't know what he was talking about. After lots of questions(from me) he hung up.

The only number that showed on caller ID was 1143. An East Indian male called from "windows" telling me I had a problem with m windows to which I replied that we had just replaced all of the windows in our house and they were working just well thank you and then promptly hung up. These are phone scammers who want access to your computer to get your credit card information. Microsoft never calls for those who might be new to this sort of fraud.

Got a call from this number stating (who I could barely understand to begin with) that I had a severe computer issue and they were calling to help fix it.  I said ok, you can talk to my IT section and let them know they are not doing a good job, without a response they hung up.
