This number (253)-243-1281 has called my home phone daily for the last five days. Never has left any message or answered when I picked up the phone.

got a call from 253-243-1281  caller ID said it was unassigned.   It took awhile to respond after I answered.  Had a foreign accent.  They asked for Mr. or Mrs. ... and I asked what type of scam they were running.  Then they got rude and used some vulgar language.  

The number calls all the time, leave no message. When answered nothing there. 253-243-2481 unassigned!

Exact same thing for me...said they were calling about my computer and when I told them I didn't even have a computer they cursed at me, called me a name and hung up....

This foreign joker called me and said he was from Microsoft and that someone from overseas was trying to hack my computer.  The more I questioned him the more agitated he became.  Then I hung up on him.

This number calls all too frequently and NEVER answers when I say "Hello".  PURE SCAM.

Got a call from this number early in the morning, then no answer when I pick up, I phoned it back and a computer says this number has been disconnected.

This is yhe 4th time recieving a call frim these prople. They tell me my vomputer has a problem and they want to fix it or it will crash today. Its aleays the same guy (John) . This us a big scam !  And when I try to return the call they say its not in service or disconnected.

As others reported above, the caller was UNASSIGNED and did not ask for either of us by name.  (Usually I do not answer these calls but was expecting a return call from out of state and was unsure of the area code.)  When the male caller said there was something wrong with my computer, I laughed out loud and said we don't have one.  That got a hang up from him!  Hopefully he will flag my number as being a useless one to try.
I used to get angry at these types of calls.  Now I want to make sure I make their lives miserable by wasting their time on the phone or laughing at them.  😃

Just got there exact same call, very determined man, I hung up.

i waited until I heard his voice and then hung up and looked for the  number here - next time I'll be ready with my lifeguard whistle!

Then you can get ready to answer the multitude of calls that may come when they get even by using  your telephone number as their call back number.

A man named "Bob Cooper" with a middle eastern accent called e stating he was with Microsoft and there was a problem with my computer. I told him I would have to call him back and asked for a # where I could reach him. He gave me 210-888-0973. I looked up both of these #'s only to find out that tons of people are getting calls from these same #'s for different reasons. I am waiting for him to call again so I can blow my sons air horn into the phone.

Received multiple calls from the same number claiming the Microsoft SCAM that my computer is calling their computers telling them that they need to install a program on my computer to repair it.  This is a confirmed SCAM that they use to lock your computer to get you to call other numbers to pay to get your computer fixed.  The Person is speaking with an Foreign accent.
I advise everyone to never listen to anyone that contacts you by phone, cellphone, or computer that wants to do anything on your computer or asks for your personal information. I always think SCAM anytime someone Cold calls me.

LAND LINE - UNASSIGNED # I SAID HELLO TWICE, FEMALE CALLER SAID, 'I AM GOING TO REPORT YOU TO THE POLICE AND HUNG UP.  I HUNG UP AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY THE FTC CANNOT ROUTE CALLS FROM THESE SPAMMERS DIRECTLY TO A FEDERAL DISCONNECT SOURCE THAT WILL TRACK AND FINE THEM!

More scam.  When I asked who they were, they hung up.

It's the brainless phony Microsoft Tech Support Scammers, all the want is to remotely access your computer and steal all the information you have on it!

And to show how totally brainless they really are, I have already blocked/blacklisted these moron's and yet they have made seven failed attempts since last November ... yep, they're still trying!

Fact is: Microsoft (or any Tech Support Customer Rep for that matter) will NEVER call you, they don't have any special "gift". You have a problem... you call them using their actual support number.

caller ID said Unassigned. When I answered, they hung up on me.
I tried to call right back but got a recording that I reached a number that was no longer in service.
