Calls @ 4:00pm yesterday, 1:00pm today to my cell.  Shows as Tacoma WA.  On DNC list also and WILL report.

We receivied the same call and they left an auto message on our answering machine.  As soon as I heard them say, press 5 to be taken off energy savings discount, I knew it was a scam to get us off our ComEd service plan.  About an hour before the call came in, a young man came to the door and told us he wants to make sure we're getting our ComEd energy discount.  The funny thing is, his badge wasn't a ComEd badge -- it was something like IGW Energy or something that starts with an "I".  We told him no thank you and he looked dumbfounded and said, are you sure you don't want your ComEd energy discount?  No thank you.

Called us today, several times, did not answer as it was an unrecognized number that we don't do business with, my dad is filing a complaint with www.donotcall.gov right now as we are also on their list.

I should also note that I find it very unlikely that it is actually Com Ed who is calling us as we recently had a billing dispute with them and we filed a complaint with both Lisa Madigan's Office and the Illinois Citizens Utility Board to straighten out the Billing Problem so Com Ed most likely does not like us very much any more. Just FYI.

TWO robo calls today (1056 hrs & 1243 hrs) from this scam out fit.. LOWER YOUR UTILITY bill was message left both times...

reported BOTH to FTC.. I am sooo glad IL Atty Gen Lisa Madigan says these calls no longer happen... Vote her out!! then maybe these scammers will get prosecuted...

Complaining to donotcall.gov is useless. Have they really put a stop to any of the annoying calls? NO! Initially they may have frightened a few telemarketers. And now annoyance calls are back to what they used be before donotcall.gov. Complaing to them is like a fart in a windstorm.... ineffective.

I recall reading and/or hearing that there was a fine issued to companaies that violated donotcall. Well, if that's true it's not effective. So I propose that the fines get issued to the carrier of the caller's number. Put the pressure on the carriers to detect (easy to do with software) a customer that is likely to be spamming phones. And if the carrier doesn't shut them down the fines increase.

Third call from this number. Filed a complaint at www.donotcall.gov.

Got two calls within 10 minutes of each other.  Claimed to be ComEd, etc...  I'm register with Do Not Call, but it's a joke.  Spoofing is out of control, anyway.  Just bought one of those digitone call blockers. Fingers crossed it works!

Best way to stop it.... file a complaint with FCC online.  Really easy

The Illinois Commerce Commission has a website to help cut through all the confusion.  It's www.pluginillinois.org and it should help anyone who is thinking about switching their electricity provider -- no middleman required.

I get a spam call posing as "Discount Center," an initiative fitting people with various discount programs. I ask what their website url would be, and the operator goes, "It's just 'Discount Program'." Ok, I go to discountprogram.com, and of course, there is nothing but some crazy-looking server error code. Back to her, at which point she says, "Uhm...we don't have a website." WHAT???"

Then she proceeds to her pitch: "Congratulations - you have qualified to switch to something called UER Program!" I ask what the UER stands for. She deliberates for a moment for a moment and replies, "Utility Energy Revenue". It almost sounds like she's made it up on the spot. Again, there is no mention of this "company" anywhere online.

I smell SCAM!!!! Stay away.

This number is calling me 24/7. To whom I have to address my complain?

Receiving calls from this number several times per day. Just had 3 in last 30 minutes. Nobody is on the line IF I do answer.

I have the same experience..3 calls past 30 minutes. They always hang up.

Automated message offering to see if I was eligible for discounts on my Pepco electric bill.  I waited for a human, who stated she worked for "Discount Center " (the purported name of the company.  I told her the call was illegal and she said she would make certain I never received another call.

Called twice in a row. Didn't leave a message.
