This caller made me feel like he was a stalker demanding I call him back and he would use any means to trace me down. I’m reporting this to my local law enforcement

Got a call – no message left. I haven't done any business with Walgreens mail order. After reading the above comments I have some concerns:
     1.  What legitimate business does not leave a message?
     2.  Why wouldn't they do a better job identifying themselves?
     3.  Has Walgreens been hacked  and, hence,  the caller has transaction  and other information?  Reputable companies have been slow to disclose they were hacked.

Since I haven't done any business with Walgreens mail order service,  I see no reason for them to call me. I am blocking this number.

I would take the time to look up "Caller ID Spoofing".  I would also take the time to realize that no one looks up a number if they know who is calling, so all the reports here that "it's legit" are the scammers themselves.

This is a Walgreen's mail service call from their call center in Alabama. This is not a scam and is their direct line instead of calling the general 1-800 number.

I didn't answer the call but I can tell you I don't do any business with Walgreen's online pharmacy. All my prescriptions are filled locally by my Walgreens. Seems strange...

They just called me back and I answered this time. It is Walgreens pharmacy and they were calling to tell me to pick up a prescription. I had already told my local pharmacy I didn't need the prescription any longer because I was taking a different medicine but they never made an update in their systems due to laziness. Frustrating, but this call is legit.

They say Walgreens, but you still have to be careful. Scammers can use make it show walgreens, but really are not. Never give personal info out over phone, go to your local pharmacy. This has happened to me with other companies. Do what you want people, it's your information.

Called on my cell phone in regards to my mother's Medicare part D. Apparently Medicare has given new numbers to all their customers(not using their social security numbers anymore)and wanted that number to continue to process her prescriptions. Handled by an automated system which I refused to respone to.

If their call is legit, why don't they leave a message?
Why call for several days in a row exactly at the same time?
All ID says is "Muscle Shoals, AL"?
So, it must not be a legit. Walgreens caller.
Especially at times like this, when phone abuse is rampant, they should identify themselves one way or the other.

I can't begin to explain why so many peeps came here to check a number they seem to have already known, nor do I have any idea what the scam is. But if they are scammers, then I must be too, cuz I can tell you that is a legit outgoing number for Walgreens customer service. Of course, scammers could also be spoofing that number, so regardless of Caller ID, you can never be sure who's calling unless you answer or they leave a message with a verifiable call back number. Anyway, I got a call from that number a couple weeks ago, they left no message, caller ID said "Walgreens card" and my cell phone app rated it "Likely Scam", so I blocked the number. Now, I've been expecting an email from WAG customer service, but I continue getting calls from that number, so I decided to check into it a bit farther. I found several reports from app users who said it was legit, and several more from users who called it spam and all quoted the same voicemail message, "This is (various names) from Walgreens. Yada-yada. Please call back at (various numbers)."  They didn't leave a message when they called me the first time, and then I blocked them, so after seeing that and reading the reports here, I decided to try calling them using the only number I have (this thread) and got a recorded message saying that I'd reached the outgoing unmonitored number for Walgreens CS, would I please call the number I'd been given by the WAG employee who called me.

So in my case, I just don't see how it could be a scam. I can tell you one reason they don't always leave a message is that unless you've requested detailed messages, it would be a HIPAA violation to divulge any personal health information, even the fact that you are taking prescription meds. And, having worked at Waggles Rx myself for over 2 years (ending in 2014), and being an Rx customer the past 2 years, I can tell you that customer service is a mess - poorly trained with rapid turnover. Add to that a website that's riddled with bugs and a schizophrenic corporate and you just don't know what might happen next. You might be better off in the hands of scammers.  They really do have some truly great pharmacists and staff (and some not so), but they can only do so much.

    Be well!
(That official salutation is part of their "wellness" campaign, along with "WELL-come to Walgreens". Yes, for real.)

Woman said she was "Alliance" and she was from Walgreens Home Delivery. About my recent prescription. Said they needed my verbal permission to  fill it. Gave me a prescription number that is NOT  even Walgreens format.  Also gave an 800-number to call back 800-345-1985.
