My call was from Walgreens.  Be careful yours isn't spoofed to their number.  Been getting scrips for years from Walgreens store (pain in the butt)  Switched to AllianceRX and everything has been a mess since then.  This lady said she was from Walgreens.com.  I don't think that is the same as Alliance RX but I know they are associated.  DAYS on the phone trying to straighten it out.

If you already know who called you, why did you look up the phone number?

This is a Walgreens customer service number that they do not answer, so you cannot call back on it.

Claimed something pharmacy I asked for her to repeat.  Asked for birthdate, verify address,asked for Zip Code(something odd going on). Asked for insurance and before I cut her off she asked for insurance ID number. Very insistent that they needed verification before they could fill a prescription.

Human caller, left voicemail stating they were with Walgreens, with a 877# in the voicemail (vs this # in my call history). I placed a refill request last night, so it was possible it was legit, but I wasn't about to call back two random numbers. I called the Walgreens online pharmacy # and they said my script was being filled file and I shouldn't need to be contacted, and the agent said it'd be the local store calling if there was a problem. I called the local store, they said all was fine and my script would be ready later today and I'd get an automated call then. Seems both possibly legit due to the timing of when they called, but also and very likely a scam.
