There are times when I find myself compelled to have some fun with these twits...it can be quite entertaining.

"Your computer is sending tech support signals..."

"That's awful! Which one is doing that? The red one or the green one?"

This number has called twice in 24 hours - I have NOT answered it, but have tried to call the number back.  It rings and then proceeds to tell me the phone number is invalid and/or has been disconnected.

I knew about this scam, so when he called me and started with his first sentence, I continue: " so are you calling me from India to sell me antivirus" and started laughing.   He got mad, he mocked my laugh, it was funnier for me. so I asked him If I need to pay in rupees, he got angry, then I hang up.     I had a great moment!!

These cretins called me @ 7:36 P.M. CT this evening (August 1, 2014). I didn't answer, and they left no message. Apparently, though, if I DID pick up, I probably would have gotten the same spiel a lot of the other posters here have about there being some wiseacre with a thick Indian accent claiming I had some virus or other on my computer, which obviously would have been bogus.

I've gotten calls like this before--more likely than not from the same schemers, too. How anyone I've never even heard of before, much less dealt with, can detect a virus on my computer escapes me anyway. At any rate, something needs to be done about these jokers once and for all before they do end up scamming some naïve soul with their shtick.

Received several calls from this number late in the evening, and each time I can hear people in the background but they would say nothing. Finally I told them to F off and stop calling, so today they decided to talk and used several profanities and threats. Don't waste your time answering if this number rings at your house.

Received a call tonight, 2 minutes before 9 PM. Fortunate for the caller I was not aware of this SCAM.

My advice to anyone that receives a call from this number would be to ask which computer sent the message. Tell them you have several computers connected to the same internet connection.

I bet they disconnect quicker than a lightning strike.

Unbelievable! These jerks just called me again (August 1, 2014 @ 12:19 P.M.). When are they going to get the hint that I'm not falling for their scam and that they need to at the very least move on to the next sucker?

That's it! Time to block them.

I have received NUMEROUS calls from these people.  Heavy Indian accent telling me there is something wrong with my computer.  They have actually harassed me, calling me 20 times in a row after I screamed at them for calling me.  I have been nice, I have been rude, I have ignored them, I have advised them I don't have a computer yet they still keep calling. Today is the 1st time I got the phone number, typically it comes in unknown caller.

For some reason, the computer callers always ask for my husband.  I know full well, that my husband would not call anyone about a computer problem without telling me.

This # indicated a call from Cleveland, Tx,  With all suspicious calls, I start my recorder and answer.....Caller said nothing, but a recorded good by was generated. These foreign idiots have tried calling me with a computer repair scam. All recorded calls are sent to FCC. Spy equipment can be purchased and a physical address has been recorded and hit men are on the way to slaughter these [***].

Called Tuesday, 8/5 at 1:31pm.  Caller ID says Cleveland, TX.  I did not answer and no message left on voicemail.

Called Wednesday, 8/6 at both 9:44am and 9:45am (can you say "rapid fire"?).  Caller ID says Cleveland, TX.  I did not answer and no message left on voicemail.

Why can't these people just stop?  JUST STOP!  And who are the losers that work for these companies -- are they that desperate for a job that they get paid to harrass people?  Unbelievably annoying.
