These [***] keep calling my husbands cell phone even though we have asked them to stop!!!  He's not even a registered voter.. You think they would do their damm homework before harassing someone!

i created a "contact" on my caller ID for known telemarketers. There are 4 positions in each ID so I can lump alot of them together. I put them in as: TELE1, TELE2 and so on. When they pop up I just mute the ringer and go on with my life.

Yall keep call and I will keep ignoring yall. Bunch of harassing [***]. We didnt ask for your calls so go find a new job.

Not sure how or why these ppl got my cell number but they did. I saw its a consumer research company.

Received a phone call on my cell phone from 281-825-4339.  Besides being annoying, it cost me air time.

Missed a call from this number tonight.  I normally answer every call, but I was busy at the moment.  

They didn't leave a number and I live in South Dakota.  




On that topic, why are people so scared to answer calls that they don't know?  That used to be the only way to do it.  If you do get a telemarketer, all you have to say is "remove me from your list" and they are legally obligated to do so.  It takes a few seconds.

This is not spam.  They are contacted from reputable businesses to collect info.  Usually customer service surveys.  Mine was from Advance auto asking how a recent purchase went.  They knew the employees name I delt with and I gave them honest helpful information to hopefully promote better customer service.

yea, i just bought a battery from advanced auto parts too. they took my number for the warranty on my battery.

Please don't take this the wrong way but if you don't realize that an unanswered call does not use your minutes maybe you should not have a cell phone...its obviously too complicated a concept.  All the info on this caller was posted about 4 posts in to the page...read it, its why you Googled it, isn't it?  Leaving posts telling THIS site to stop calling, is just moronic.

They called me twice in 10 minutes. The first time I picked up and they heard my voice and said nothing, hanging up, then they called back and I told them to [***] themselves and they haven't called back. This was just a few moments ago...what a bunch of creeps.

I do give the company partial credit, once you uncover it's them, for posting their call script on their web site: http://www.vcrhouston.com/altria/wave_8_results.pdf. As you will see, the company that hired them to do "voter research" was the Altria Group, which is owned by Philip Morris (the cigarette folks). Note from the call script that they are instructed to hang up on you if they haven't reached you on a cell phone. Can anyone think of a better explanation for why this might be other than to harvest a list of cell #s for text blasts at some point? The voter story is obviously just a cover up to harvest the usual demographics on you so they can better market their products to you in the future.

I just received a call from that number, but i never answer calls from Texas - everything in TX sucks. :) smart move it seems.

I have stopped answering phone calls from out-of-state numbers I do not recognize.

This call was answered by my answering machine but they left no message and just hung up.
I wonder how many of these calls are actually  the U.S. Goverment posing as private companies to research or spy on the public for their personal info ..... and just to let you on on this little tidbit of info regarding this particular line....it has not been used in my home by me or my wife in over 4 months until today, by me. I had to call my cell to remind me of the number that it was, its been that long since it has been used.
Now who would have that kind of phone call tracking technology for outgoing calls.

If you get Google Voice you can block them and when they call it plays the recorded message a person would get if they had dialed a number that had been disconnected.....I am going to block the survey people so that they cant call again.

2 nights in a row they have called me. Thank you to everyone else that posted for the telemarketer number 281-825-4339. I am tried of jumping for the phone to see Texas calling me at night. Please, can't somebody do something about this? So much for the "DO NOT CALL LIST"

Dan @ consumer research, I got a boot tip that I will plant up your @ss next if I get anymore calls from your dorky outfit.  I am registered Do Not Call which means DO NOT CALL ME !

Called 4-18-2012 @ 17:50, answered call and agreed to take part in a political survey.  However, had to discontinue participation a couple of questions into the survey because the female caller didn't speak clear and understandable English.  Not under the impression she was from outside the country, just spoke like she had a wad of mush in her mouth.
