Received call rang.  Scammer.  They did not leave me a message.  Never answer unknow number

They have called and wanted personal information saying they are collecting for a debtor I have not heard of?

They called me today.  Wanted me to confirm address and I said, “I’m not confirming anything until I know what this is regarding”.  They said it was a $308 debt to a company I’ve never heard of.   I asked if they wanted my attorney’s (that doesn’t exist) number and they hung up.

called, i picked it up said hello and no one responded. hung up on them.

This number has called me numerous times, and until today I have not answered.  When I did answer today they hung up.  I tried calling the number back and I get a recording that "The number you have dialed is no longer in service" so yeah....scammers

I answered and it was a foreign man with a heavy accent asking me to verify personal information (full name, SS#, address) I asked him to tell me who he was and why he was calling and wouldn’t give me any info other than “it’s a personal matter” and he couldn’t tell me unless I verified information first. I told him I did not feel comfortable verifying any info and that I was ending the call. He said “ ok have a nice day” and I hung up.

Has been calling for about a month now. Never leaves a message. Block

Same here, I think it maybe a collections agency.

Answered because I was expecting a call from my new job.  Figured my new boss kept their number from a previous time.  They asked for someone I knew, but flags went up when they only said “it was a personal matter.”  Told them that the person wasn’t there and they claimed to call back later.

This number called me and I answered. She kept repeating it was about a personal matter pertaining to me. I asked what business she worked for, she stated it was a personal matter and could not disclose because it was against the law... Then she stated she could tell me if i was " my name and last 4 on my social" correctly might I add. And I replied, wow so its against the law for you to tell me what business you work for, but not against the law for you to give out the last four of someones social without even verifying that it is them? and she was like, i'm sorry, mam I cant hear you, man are you there, i'm sorry? lol sure buddy.

Received a call on my job phone. I returned the call but was on hold---listening to music for 5 min. I hung up. Must not have been important.

I got the same call about a personal business,  they asked if I lived in address and I said no thru hung up?? Shouldn't the debt collector identify themselves
