yes, of course it is a scam.  they have nothing to do with your bank, and it is a coincidence that they call after you do transactions at the bank. they call everybody.  ALL. THE. TIME. and trick stupid people into revealing personal and banking information. Block the number, report it to FTC and attorney general, and otherwise ignore.  And, yes, it is illegal, and they know that.

Called at 444PM.  Caller ID said "PAETECSTARNET."  I didn't answer but he left a message on my machine. It was the recorded voice of Former Texas Governor Rick Perry asking me to vote for Eva Guzman for the Texas Supreme Court.

Just called again.  2nd time in two days.  Yesterday, it was Rick Perry.  Today, it was Lt Governor Dan Patrick with the same speech about voting for Eva Guzman for the Texas Supreme Court.

hmmm...i guess they just got out of jail and have learned some new methods. i got a message on my email that they called my landline and were instructed to leave a message on my email account. TOTAL B.S.  how did they get my ema? who are these jerks?
