I just got the same call..I was out of the room. I called it back and it said "to remove your fax number please enter your ten digit number"

301-882-9986 received call from this number today.. It said on caller id
out of state call. I did not answer it and let the machine pick up, they did not leave a msg..

Received a call today from 301-882-9986.  Recording that they were from my credit card company account services (no company specified) and that they could offer me a lower interest rate.  Said to press 1 to speak to a live agent or 2 to remove my number.  I pressed 2 and a recording said that my number has been removed.

They call and left no message!

Keep getting calls from this number and others that have the same "credit card last call warning" message, keep telling them to remove my number from their calling list.  Got into an arguement with a telemarketer today, he claims he has never talked to me before and can't remove my number.  I just kept repeating remove my number from the calling list 3 times then said thank you and hung up.  Unfortunately I can't do a report to the fcc until the 25th... These calls call at all hours of the day and night and are really bug'n the heck out of me!  I wish we could put a stop to it!!

They called me too.  I just never answer my phone unless it's a number I know.  If I don't know the number I check the number on yahoo free people search to find out who it is.

301-882-9986 Said they were calling from Google because they see that we are not on the first page when they did a search on our business.  I hate these damn recorded messages, this must be some loophole to the Do Not Call list.  I hate them all.

called at 1am left message that I could get patients by the truck load. My patients use that number for emergency at that time of night so of course Im a little pissed at that time of night.

Woke me up last night at 10:30 calling our fax number that is in our home.  I thought telemarketers weren't supposed to call after 9:00 pm. If this number is as bad as the above remarks make it seem, they should be cut off.

got a call from them today.  i just picked up the phone and hung up on them.

Answered this number even though I didn't recognize it, since I'm job hunting and never know where calls are coming from.  Got a guy that said, "Sorry, wrong number" and hung up.  Is this really a telemarketer?

Our business receives a great deal of out of area calls, so we always pick them up. The recorded message said something about satellite service being installed in my area. I pushed 1 to connect. A man picked up, and I said, "Take me off your call list now". He responded with, "Don't tell me what to do sir" and hung up on me. What a miserable weasel. Calling the number back gives an automated message asking you to enter your number to be taken off the fax list.

Rec'd a call from this number on 7/28/08 at 9:30PM saying it was an Amber alert and this was so and so Anthony, the grandfather was the missing girl  from Orlando FL. I had let it go to the answering machine so I disconnected the call. How strange is that? Esp at 9:30PM.

just got a call from this number and the only thing I heard from the "prerecorded caller" was: "Sorry, wrong number" ... then it hung up. (?)

Ya i misseed the call but didnt recognize the #. I have recieved similar call to my home phone in the past. I used google search engine to narrow it down piece by piece until i came up with the same answer. Core Communications. With telemarketing they are supposed to have a system where you can be taken off the call list. Thus company doesnt seem to have one. If you really want to stop this and other sales calls i have heard of a goveernment program where you can be put on a permaneant no call list for everyone then straght sales calls cannot call you. The charity places still are able to but they have a no call list you can sign up for. Be aware that some companies can use this loophole to call you. This is done by having a small percentage of their proceeds go to charity. I did about two weeks worth of work for Celebrity Prime Foods, a in home food service and we did this. You had to start every call with saying who they were and that they were calling on behalf of this or that charity.

7/29/08  909pm when i answered it says "sorry, my mistake" when I called back i got something about "Fax # removal system... enter your FAX #..."

Call repeatedly never anyone there when answered. Very Very persistent, yet no one is ever on other end.

This number called me this afternoon, is persistent in selling me home morgage plan. HA!! I rent an apartment. I do not wish for this number, or so called company to call me again!!

Received 3 calls from this number in less than 3 minutes. When I answered an automated call proceeded with "We have noticed that your company is not on the front page of google. To place your company on the front page or learn more about it please press 1 to be connected with a representative now, or press 2 to be removed." They must do something about their automated systems because we are one their first page and are usually listed within the top 3 sponsored links.

I just got a call on my cell same number when i call it back says enter the fax number i wish to have removed.. LOL this is crazy and someone needs to deal with then
