I just got a call from this number....301-882-9986...and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST!!  When I answered the phone, I said "Hello" and didn't hear anything.  I then said that I know who you are and I have your phone number, then heard a "click", then nothing.  I'm getting sick of this!!  I don't the FCC really cares either.  My room mate tried filing a complaint about a credit collector, who is NOT abiding by the FCC's/FTC's rules and regulations and the FCC isn't going to do anything about it.  She may have gone to the wrong place to file that complaint, but still...

Yeah, so much for that... It's 2009 and I'm getting calls, so they still must be in business.

Yeah right... these calls have been going on for over a year. Seems like the FTC is useless.

I went to LendingTree almost 4 years ago, looking for info to refinance my house.   They must keep that information on file for years and years, because event today I continue to get solicitation calls.   Even though I have asked to have my name removed, and tell people who call I am no longer in need of this service.   I got a call from this number today.

They call me, leave no message.  My phone is on DNC list.  They need to be reported to FCC.

Same # started calling yesterday.  Called twice and now they just called again.  I donot pick up.  Jumped on Google and found u guys.....Thansk for all the info.  Going to the FCC link and file.......

Called many times. Sometimes from another number and area code but same call.  Want to lower interest rates on my cards to 6.5%.  They always hang up if I ask a question.

This call comes 2-3 times a day on my cell phone. My cell phone is on the DO NOT CALL list. I think the best thing is DO NOT answer the call, when you pick up and answer there are ways they can find out your phone number & personal information.

I have received 4 of these phone calls in the LAST HOUR.  Something needs to be done TO (not just about ;-) these people.  They need to be stopped.

After a lot of research I have determined the organization behind this phone number may very well be a shell corporation named HuskHawk Marketing owned by a collections and telemarketing company known as Bahamas Marketing Group.

The domain names for all of their shell corporations are all hidden from WHOIS by using Domains by Proxy via GoDaddy.  However, the IP block assigned to them by ARIN shows they are:

The limited information on them via Google suggests they have several locations in Kansas, several could be drop boxes or perhaps actual locations.  It would be interesting to get someone on this website who lives in Kansas to do some drive-bys and report if the location is a business with their name or a Mailboxes Etc.

I have recieved calls from this number several times (5 times in one day) I have pressed two to remove my number several times before but the number still calls. I want something done about this..I am not home when they have called lately or they would hear an earfull.

Received a call from this number today with no message left.  I will not answer calls that I do not have listed in my cell phone.  Did a reverse number look-up online and found it was from Core Communications in MD.  Must be the same bogus calls the previous posts received......

I have let this number ring many times before, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day, thinking this number would leave a message on the answering machine, but after more than a month of this "New Market, MD" number calling, and they didn't leave any messages, I decided to answer to see what seemed to be so important to them.  When I did that, a recording stated there is nothing wrong with my credit card, but they could lower my interest rate to 6 %: press 1 to speak to a representative, or 2 to be taken off their call list.  I hit 2.  The very next day, this same number called again.  This time I hit 1.  A lady came on, and she said "I need your name and phone number.  I said you don't need my name, and since you called me, you already have my phone number.  I told her I hit the # 2 the day before, why are they calling me?!  I told her I am also on the "Federal Do Not Call" list, why am I getting these calls, and they need to stop calling me. She abruptly hung up without saying anything.  If I want my interest rate lowered on my credit card, I will call the company that issued my credit card.  I don't need someone else to do that for me, or call me, and say that they will do that for me.  Why don't these scumbags bother people who "want" their services?  It seems like these phone numbers always bother us, the people who "DON'T want their services or to listen to their constant ringing on our phones !!  These phone calls and the people working them are nothing but big scammers.  BEWARE !!  I think our Congress needs to rethink their "Do Not Call" list.  There's too many loopholes that these scumbags are finding.  It's NOT working, are you representative and senators listening out there?  I am going to write a letter to my senator and congressman.  I am tired of this crap!

i would like to know why there is a years gap of complaints on this page about this number? did they stop for awhile and now they are back at it again cuz i got a call from them tonight?
