- MelZIt was kinda funny considering all our devices are Apple. In any event, I would not have believed it. It just sounded phony, with such as moments as my computer "becoming obsolete.

- Dixie Storey| 1 replyI have asked them to stop calling and they keep doing it. It is "Microsoft" and how my computer is supposedly impacted. It is a scam. My computer isn't impacted. Please stop calling again. My cell and home numbers are on the do not call list.

- JanRobo call claiming to be Microsoft calling about my computer. Gotten several calls from these scammers in the last month from different numbers.
BTW, it doesn't help to "talk to a representative." When I asked the woman I spoke with to remove my number from their list, she tried to continue to tell me my computer was in danger, then flat-out pretended to not hear me when I told it wasn't. I hung up on her.
Don't bother answering.- Caller: "Microsoft"

- HTHA major scam. Do not take the call, or give any info. Just hang up.

- KimberlyCalled and robotic voice left a message about my computer being compromised and that if I did not contact them right away that all data would be lost. I had heard of this scam before, let the answering machine take the call and then erased the message. Best advice I can give to protect your computer is get very good antivirus and anti-malware software, update it every day and scan your computer every time you boot it, keep your computer's auto update feature activated to download and install any security updates, and unplug the computer from the modem when you are not needing to go online (just to do word processing for instance). Also turn off the feature that allows your computer to be remotely accessed by another computer. Unless you're connected to a computer network, like in an office for example, this stand-alone feature should not be a problem.

- Rupert C.Robo call from "Microsoft" advising that my Windows system has been compromised and if I didn't contact them immediately, all of my information would be lost. (Female voice.) Gave a call back # 302--316-9259. This was 03/09/18 @ about 12 PM.
- Caller: Microsoft

- Kat replies to BillyDNo need to be scared, it's just a stupid scammer.
- MidwestCaller ID says "ALEXENDER TECH"... robocall with voice synth text-to-speech saying your PC with Microsoft Windows has been breached and you need to talk to them or your computer will become obsolete and your information compromised. I was tempted to laugh except that people like this are too disgusting. The interesting thing about this one though is that it failed to hang up on the answering machine, the robo message was recorded.
- Caller: more fake computer scare tactics

- Kat replies to Dixie StoreyScammers don't care if you're on the DNC list. That's why a call blocker is a good investment.
