Scam call at 2:30pm California time. Voice message left on machine about computer hijack problem if using Microsoft. Old trick, received before! Why the US Government know the crook's phone number but do nothing about it?

Same old Windows scam. The air horn got to do it's work

Woman's recorded voice imitating computer-generated speech, says Microsoft has detected an intrusion etc.  Bad grammar nails this one as foreign scammers.  They give the caller ID number to call back so it is call forwarded to Eastern Europe or China, not spoofed.  Caller ID is MILLSBORO DE.  Blocked.

They (Microsoft Security) just called with the same message as above.  I didn't answer or call back.  Funny thing is though, as soon as I "woke" my computer up, they called!

Yep as above but I just had to hit 1....Was told someone was trying to steal my info from Microsoft  Windows,  again asked to press 1, then some one talking to me. "Microsoft tech support , how can i help you". I dont have any PC at my home at all.
I politely told him " You idiots called me .."   Thats all,  the guy pissed off  and could not talk anything else to convince me , immediately hung up. [Today 3/15/2018, 5;10 PM CST]

Scam robo call saying my computer is being hacked and I should talk to them to fix before I lose all my data..  I should press 1 to talk to someone or call 302-316-9259.  I wonder how many people fall for this scam.

Same as above..left voicemail stating whoever is using Microsoft office needs to talk to security...or info would become obsolete...

Robocall supposedly from Microsoft support. My computer has been compromised and if I don't call them back immediately my computer will "become obsolete and all my data will be lost" 302 phone number

Unrecognized number.  Blocked for the future.  Scumbags and thieves.

Scam / I read the posts. CB: Your call can not be completed as dialled.

Received the 4th call this month from the "support" team claiming that my computer was being hijacked. They're the scammers.

Scam call,recorded  message. I did not call them back.

Tried calling Dad 3-19-18 at 628pm cst.

Same thing as everyone else who posted about this number. I have received this call before on my house phone. This time around it was on my cell phone. I didn't answer the call. Total bogus scam! All these people want is your computer's info just so they can take it over and corrupt it. Do not fall for it.

Funny, yesterday I rebooted my desktop ran Defender. Today I get the call from these skidmarks. Raised my blood pressure until I consulted 800notes, love you guys.

Just got this call.  Here is the gist of the message: “Someone is trying to hijack your computer and try to steal your personal information if it's not fixed right away …” then your computer will become obsolete and all of your credential information they got compromised if you are the one who is using Microsoft windows in your computer then please call 302-316-9259 or press one now to speak with security team now please ignore if we called you by mistake thanks

Yep.....Microsoft scam.  Called cell and made a threat.  Should be whipped and jailed.

Recording on voice mail on home phone saying someone is trying to hijack my computer and steal my information and to call them right away if "you are the one using Microsoft".
