- WestThis kind of call is particularly weird because they claim to have been "monitoring" your computer system without your knowledge, which is a computer crime. The maximum penalty for doing what this caller claims to have done is up to 15 years in prison and $50,000 fine (in my state).
So, I'm sure it's not a good idea to give access to your computer to a guy who admits to committing computer crimes. - SableSame as above - robo scammer.
