just got this call -- of course it is a scam blocked the number & deleted the message.  Waste of time!

Missed call. If from Microsoft scam, I tell them I don't have a computer. They asked if I have a laptop, I tell them "nope" they hang up after that.

Robo message left on home answering machine. Like above responses, claimed to have received ping from my computer, all data will be lost, blah, blah, blah. Really pisses me off that they think we're that ignorant, sadly, if people weren't falling for it, they wouldn't be doing it. I was told to report all numbers like this to every local, state, federal authority I can because there was an attempt of ID theft using my husband's name one time. It has helped reduce the number of calls.

Sick and tired of these supposed Microsoft calls!

Recvd call saying someone was trying to hack ky microsoft and i have to calo them right away.

Another stupid scam call about window PC being compromised. Must call 302-316-9259 immediately.

I, too, have received numerous calls from these toilet scrapings, both on my cell and my land line. Naturally, I don't respond. But I wonder how this scam makes money. Do they try to sell some kind of antivirus program/service? Or do they try to get you to let them into your computer via the phone? Anyone ever pursued this far enough to find out how the scam works?

I do not trust this caller. The first 2 calls prior to this had no caller ID. I am getting suspicious messages on my computer too.

Got this same call "only we can save your computer if you press 1 now!" scam from two different phone numbers: one was from this number, with caller ID "Alexander Tech."

Left message on voice mail said my windows was broken.

First time I’ve heard from Microsoft Help Scammers in about a month. They too, call on cell and land line. This time was cell. This call type was new however.  I’m used to a live person, a young sounding man with a heavy accent. This was a female robo-call. I believe they also called from a different number. I did not answer. They left a VM.

Claimed to be Microsoft said my computer had  corrupt MICROSOFT WINDOWS that will stop working if I don’t call...
A strange condition for a Mac Book.

Scammer call 8:28AM PDT "Alexender Tech" electronic voice telling me my Microsoft computer has been compromised. Msg left on answering machine.

I received the call at 5:23 pm. Florida
