I have gotten a number of calls from this number for "Wendy", who presumably had this number at some time in the past.  I have had this number since July 2011, it is now April 2012.

    Credit Fraud

P Scott Lowery are calling me from the number 720 644 3311 as Samantha. I have had fraudulent credit cards opened in my name and they have all been taken off my credit report because it was fraud. They continue to call and threaten to send me to court. I told them PLEASE send me to court so then I can at least present my identity theft info and get them off my back. I am not scared of them, they are harrassing me when someone else opened cards under my name. They are going DOWN.

Even if you think that you may owe money to someone, you do NOT owe it to P Scott Lowery or their clients--who, by the way are probably owned by them.

Read up on junk debt buyers. When an original creditor sells debt, they sell it for pennies (not even dimes) on the dollar, and then the debt buyer attempts to collect.

The debt may be misapplied to you, it may be so old that it's illegal to sue for it (out of the Statute of Limitations) or it may be inflated so they'll make more money on their teeny tiny little investment.

NEVER pay a junk debt buyer. You don't owe money to someone who can't prove, based on rules of evidence (yup, you can read up on that, too) that they own the debt they say that you owe them.

Start by responding quickly to their letter, and dispute the debt and demand validation. "Validation" isn't much at this stage, but it will stop them from immediately suing you till they obtain it from the original creditor.

Then read, read read about how to fight them. It's ALL available at several forums on the internet.

They have a new tactic. They mimic a number that's local in your area.

Got two calls in one day, both on numbers that the original creditor NEVER HAD. Two violations of the FDCPA, right there.

The caller ID traces to a non-existent number that's local to me. Yet another violation: they must have a valid phone number.

Waiting to see if I receive a collection letter in the five day window they have. If not, another violation.

    These guys are bad news.

Scott Lowery garnished my husbands wages and the amount was paid off we have the original court document and my husbands check stubs where the two matched, later they called and said we didn't pay enough, we then received notice from our bank and they put a hold on our account, it has not taken effect yet, I called them to set up payment arrangements because I didn't want my checking account messed with, I don't even know where to send the payment.  I would like to send it online.  or not send money since we don't owe them but we cannot afford an attorney to fight them.  They are bullies bottom line.

I have received about 8 phonne calls from thi Colorado phone number and the woman states she is from Lowery law office.  she starts the call telling me she is recording the phone call.  sounds very official but she fails to speak clearly when referring to the name of the compoany she is calling from.  she asks to verify my address and my social security number, she states the last four digits of what is supposedly my social security #.  I refulsed to confirm my address and ask her why she is calling me.  She is very rude adn says she will tell me why she is calling when I confirm my social security #Q and address and name.  DO NOT GIVE THESE TYPES OF CALLERS YOUR PRIVATE INFORMATION!!!

Make sure you realize this company will then send you threatening letters and pretend to have access to your debt. They also called me from a California phone number as well as a Colorado number. The California number was in my actual area code so this is quite confusing how they use my area code as well as the Colorado area code. I doubt this office is anywhere near Colorado!! A con artist sweat shop with access to fake phone numbers.

As im sure some of you anti bill payers have figured out, since you have the internet and what not, cach is the owner of YOUR UNPAID DEBT, a network of law offices own this debt, they have many "Qualified Attorneys" that can and will sue you, best idea is pay your debt as agreed, i.e. do the correct thing.......p.s. Harassment is without intent.......when the intent is to collect a debt chances are you are a bum! Its only a real job when you make it.

Double shill alert!  All these people who have been called by your company are still waiting for that debt validation letter.  Oh wait, you didn't send it?  Why ever not?  Oh I see, because you have no proof that any of these people actually owes any debt, let alone a moldy old one that is beyond SOL  and therefore is uncollectable.

Now dammit Chuck! yef is being insulted by an ignorant, two-bit POS like you & I have to take the time out of my busy morning?  What? You don't think I have smarter fools to fry?
Listen up "Chuck"! You are more of a fool here than you are in your own neighborhood. You're a joke there. You're a joke here. Don't try to pee in my litter-box.
You want to talk about intent ? Post your valid, physical address. I'll shove your "intent" right up your worthless back-side!  Doubt me "chuck" ? TRY ME!  I'll set your penny-for-a-dollar operation up for a quick thousand dollar hit & have your worthless ass paying for my lunch next Wednesday. You mess with me, your bar-stool  barrister is going to be squealing for a settlement like a 12 yr. old Jewish princess wanting it in a way that preserves her virginity.
Go ahead "chuck". I'm well known here. Unlike you, my threats are real. Let's play!

You evidently are new to shilling for debt buyer bullies. You need to raise your game beyond that treadworn kindergarten level taunting. Simple answer follows:

PAID ALL MY BILLS AND TWO AHEAD OF TIME, AND "WHOMPF" ..... Every few months another of your mouth-breathing, allergic-to-real-work scofflaw peers tries to melt down my phone lines with abandoned calls and so-pompous messages and wants me to help hunt down some poor sum-bidge I've never met who MAY have once used my phone number or MAY have lived within a thirty mile radius.

Half the time the quarry can be located in eight minutes or less on any search engine you might care to name. OH, LOOK! THERE'S A NAME AND ADDRESS AND WORK NUMBERS TOO! HOW GODS-DAMNED HARD WAS *THAT*?!

} cach is the owner of YOUR UNPAID DEBT
} network of law offices own this debt

So which is it, Sunnyside? I never dreamed we'd get a punishable misleading statement so early in a shill campaign. Oh, and correction, it's UNPROVEN debt being peddled at fire sale prices ... big difference there.

    } Harassment is without intent

Okay, I've read that postscript nine times and it fails both as an English sentence and in coherence. You don't get to define "harassment"; you're just the source of it begging to be spanked by a *strict liability* statute.

When one of those Collect America paper mill lawyers comes at me with the usual fatally flawed complaint and legless affidavits, I will gladly "do the correct thing" and make those gold watch thugs my judgment debtors.

Here's some fun reading for your next Hacky Sack break, "since you have the internet and what not [sic]":
